Retreating Up+B On Ground

Just do it out of a pivot. Jump canceling helps but isn't necessary.

You can also wavebounce it, if you want to retreat from a forward run:

you can also moonwalk the spinning kong by hitting up+b the instant you hit the ground while your momentum is backwards. B reversing Up+B is also a great little trick.
