Actually that was just the vote if we couldn't participate in the tournament and had to go to another building to play smash at, but that is nullified since we could participate.

Also, To everyone:

I will most likely not participate or at least leave early if we do an additional smashfest/tournament after this tourny hosted by the library.

However, the I could escort you all to the location where you all could continue the smashfest or dollar tourny if you decide to do so after the tournament hosted by the library, and help set up.

Important:

I will warn you that you have to pay some money if your going to park in the parking garage.
To park for free, a good place is at the mailman building.

How do you put a picture in? Trying to put the picture of the Library, map, and mailman building.

I'm going to edit out the original address since yahoo maps gives directions to a different Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd and mapquest couldn't find it.

Shoutouts!

We had fun! Shoutouts later, going to put the listing of the tournament results.

We decided to bail out, about 20 of us from the tourny and make our own free tourny, not with one tv and iffy rules, but with 4 tvs and standard rules. I'll put up the placings!

Lee and Llama: Thanks for helping out of the tourny! Hopefully I'll get experience in making brackets and maybe doing pools in the future.

Riot: Good job on your winning! Close and good matches we had. We made alot of attention in the winners finals.

Sighrax: Good job on taking 2nd! You stayed strong and made it in the end.

Lex: Nice match! Just playing you gives me more experience on peach!

Knil: You got a good link. Haven't played one ever since my bro left.

Will and CG: Thanks for supporting me, and I'm glad that you had fun seeing what a tourny is like.

As bad as I feel admitting it now, I pretty much had little to no expectation of this even going off, much less being as much fun as it was. I definitely want to come out to play at this place again, and I'd probably be able to supply a TV and a Cube next time if need be.

Honors: Thanks a whole bunch for putting this on, man. I had a great time, and I'm fairly certain everyone else would say the same. It'd be immense if this sort of thing could be staged with any regularity.

Lee: Some really, really good matches, although I'll admit you got the raw end of a few deals, especially on Mute City. I know I had a lot of fun, though. Hope to see you around at more of these things, definitely.

Lex: I enjoyed playing your Peach a whole lot, man. I learned a whole lot from playing you today, even if it was at the cost of getting knocked out of both brackets, haha.

Riot, Sly, Sighrax: I miss smashing with you guys practically every day. This blows, WAHHH =/ Just remember that, regardless of who wins and who loses and who places where in these tournaments, what really matters is that--truth be told--we could wreck any and all of these kids in lazer tag. Yeah, I said it.

The whole story after leaving the library

It wasn't bad at all. We first went to the new flight deck to see if they have more tvs than the library but they didn't, so me and Lee went to check the old flight deck again (cause we played smash there 30 min before the tourny), and also because I remembered that there were two tvs, the big one and the little one in a room and 4 hanging tvs which I wasn't sure it was working. So we checked all the tvs hanging and they all worked. After asking a lot of questions from a staff if it was okay, but she eventually got annoyed.

In the end the same staff member of the flight deck offered me that could try reviving the video game anime club that was at my university during my freshman year. She also mention that if I do revive the club, that there are two extra tvs that could be used in the future, plus other inventory.

So, maybe I'll think about doing that in the future, though most likely drop the anime part.

Most random moment during the tourny (a NSU student with an umbrella comes upstair to see what was going on and shouts out to his friends "dude these guys are playing smash brothers!")

This turned out to be fun, my jaw dropped when I saw the library full of little kids. But the flight deck thing was actually nice. It was good to be able to play again after going from playing every day to not playing for 2 weeks straight, took a little while to get in the groove of things.

If we can smash there again I will definatly be there. Since alot of us dont have any place to smash now that the nexus is closed for 2 months =\

Good **** to everyone, I think I had the most fun playing team friendlies.

Does anyone knows how to upload a J-peg file, cause I scanned the loser's and the winner's bracket. The only thing I see is an icon that says "Insert Image" but it requires a URL so, maybe I have to go to a website first and upload it there? Thanks in advance if you know.

The placing of who people faced was done by picking numbers from the towel (1-20). For those who have experience in doing brackets, especially double elimination could give me advice for future tournies. Plus you could give me advice for pools (Round Robins I believe its called too) too if it is ever needed in the future.

Where on campus was it located? Cause it was originally in the Library with one tv with tournament brackets hosted by the library, but we decided that to move to another location on campus with 4 tvs and mlg rules, and it finished in 2 hours. So it became two separate tournaments.
