It's just about the games that we played during our childhood. I constantly played Pokemon Blue and later tLoZ Minish Cap, so I enjoy Minish Cap even more than the new Zelda games, but that is just because I grew up with it and it gives me a lot of great memories. All the games are good, it just differs from person to person.

Well yeah, I will always have more fun playing games I grew up than new games but this doesn't mean that old games are automatically better or should be protected from criticism.

For instance, Sonic Adventure 2 was a big part of my childhood. But that being said, the Tails/Eggman levels feel still and ridged compared to Gamma's levels in SA, Knuckles and Rouge's level just get tedious and stupidly over designed near the end of the game, the kart racing levels and mini game plays like an alpha of a racing game and your biggest enemy isn't Eggman or Shadow, it's the ****ing camera.

And yet I still love that game despite its flaws.

I actually lol'd at #9
