Real Noob question

Please keep flaming to a minimum



I've noticed that i cannot consistently fastfall attacks is there a certain timing that is needed. Or do you just smash down after the attack because i've tried alot of things but i can't fastfall consistently.

If you do it instantly, you'll stall in the air. If you do it a second later, you'll fast-fall.

You can only fast fall once you've reached the apex of your jump. Holding down before then will cause nothing to happen even once you reach the apex.

You can only fastfall while already going down. Once you reached the peak of your jump and you're accelerating downward, hold down.

ya it kind of feels like u stall for like a nano second then get sucked back to the stage

is it me or do you fastfall sooner if your attack comes in contact with your opponent??
