If you haven't already noticed it yet, the other regional boards have each gotten a new sub-forum "Social Room," and Atlantic North is no exception. These boards are created with the intent to let users continue their social discussion amongst friends in their own community, while allowing the original Atlantic North board to serve its intended purpose - Smash & Tournaments. The Regional boards served this purpose, but not without spawning the crew/state/region-specific social threads (even ones under the guise of a "power rankings" thread).
The main Atlantic North board will be used for organizing smashfests, setting up Power Rankings, threads for local tournaments/bi-weeklies, organizing housing/travel plans to said local tournaments, etc. The Social Board, however, will basically serve as an Atlantic North-specific Pool Room. Feel free to make threads about anything you want, really. Other games you've been playing, music you've been listening to, school/college/work-related threads, etc.
Keep in mind, however, that post count is disabled in this room. This doesn't mean you can zettapost (which would be posting 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times in a row), as the room will still be moderated like normally. Don't spam, flame, the norm you'd expect from other boards.

2. No illegal content: no discussion of alcohol/tobacco/drugs, no discussion of porn, no discussion of illegal activity. Even if you're of age. Same punishments as always.
3. Avoid making repeat topics: these will most likely just get closed and a link will be posted to the other one.
4. Try to stay organized: don't double post if you can just edit, even though post count is disabled. Please don't make topics with excessive characters in the titles.
Rules can/will be added as they're necessary.
