Rate My Young Link "1 through 10" Updated (Spacies, ICs, Falcon and more)

IMO I would disagree, Jash's Young Link is on par with Hero Sublime's Young Link, Their level of skill is quite impressive, that may rival that of Caveman and Chu and Wak or whoever, but their experience with fighting other players isn't NEARLY as great.

Having played against Hero, I'd have to say that he's quite a lot better than Jash. You can't judge the skill of a player based soley on videos, but Jash doesn't really play against very notable players, or really good people, so it's hard to judge where he stands. Hero, on the other hand, plays on a regular basis with some of the best players in WA, and goes even in some pretty crazy match-ups. Jash has so much potential, and you can see that from watching his videos, but he needs to amplify his competition, and maybe enter some large tournaments.

I undersand all of that but this is my opinion. I never said it was a fact. this is what I think of him. And I truley belive he has what it takes to be the best Y.Link out there. But the only way to find out for sure is if he played these people and beat them eh?

Well the truth is that thats really all you can do is judge 'soley on videos' because there really isn't any other way to figure who's better out of the two . And if you say that, then that means you can't really judge Jash and decide that Hero is better than him just because you have played Hero, sorry.

Well, I'll just have to play Hero and see how good he is compared to my skill level and see for myself.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say it like that. You're a very good Y. Link player and I have admiration for you as a player, but I don't think you're quite at the same level as Hero yet. Close, maybe, but equal? I'm not too sure of that. Also, the Germ lives in NorCal, and also plays against professionals on a regular basis (Lunin, SilentSpectre, Isai, not to mention the rest of DBR, who are all very good players). What I'd really like to see at this point is some tournament videos from you. : )

That new video of that Marth: That Marth is really horrible. Against a Marth, you should not be able to get that close to him(As he clearly out ranges every single one of your moves). He should have to force you to run away and spam projectiles to open him up for an attack. You don't wanna get hit by a Marth, since they can easily kill you.

Like i've told you before. Not bad, but your not spamming enough. You'll come across a time hopefully in a tournament where you'll learn that in order to win with Young Link, you will have to spam spam spam. Oh. And not just spamming, but actually using mind games to get your opponent in the air or unable to shield and hit your projectiles.

Wow. Your close combat is pretty much perfect from what I can see. I like your approachals too.
All you need to do now is work on your projectile game, for when those matches come that will force you to rely on your long range attacks and you'll be perfect. :o

One of the vids up there is him facing a pro. And he does lose if you seen his vids on youtube there a some vids of him losing.

Everyone learns from each other. For example I've absorbed things from Caveman, Hanki, Jash, and even you Laijin. Right now I'm trying to use more physical attacks like you are which I'm trying to absorb through Jash.

I think you should wait until i have more recent videos, i play a bit different since then...not so much the Bum fight but the rest yea. More recent videos will be coming very soon. Also i kinda absorbed Laijins style a bit so i use my Projectiles a bit more wisely, so you will see a mix when the videos come up.

i'm still a fledging, but i know that spamming moves is not good. You want to be unpredictable, yet know what your doing in ANY kind of fight. Spamming will lead to them guessing your moves and then ko's. This kind of thinking is prolly why YL is considered low tier.

Spaming projecitles and spaming the same move over again are two different things.

Spamming projectiles in general isnt very good at all unless your far. When your close to the opponent do not pull out a bomb or boomerang please? Just fight, its gonna do you good, if you try to pull something out your gonna get smashed, right Jash? lol
