This roster really comes off like you don't understand why certain characters were included and some of the cuts are mind boggling. The new additions don't do enough to make up for it and there are blatant omissions. For example, there are no new Nintendo franchises included, yet we're somehow justifying two F-Zero characters? The Pokemon roster is back to the Smash 4 days yet Pirahna Plant is still here?
And for third party franchises, we're only adding Digimon and Deltarune. Digimon is great and all (I'd argue it's worth including) but not at the expense of Tekken. Why wouldn't Sans get in over Kris and Susie? Undertale is more popular than Deltarune and Deltarune content is most likely gonna be used as supplemental material to Undertale. Furthermore, why are each new franchises coming with two unique newcomers? That's a brave choice when Kazuya isn't even coming back. This would not go over well.
You're not even sure which characters represent what? Waluigi has never been a Wario character. Terry is considered a Fatal Fury character even if all of SNK is lumped in with them.
Some of the additions are cool. I'll always like Eggman, Zero and Alucard. But it's not well rounded enough to cover the odd choices made.
