Here you can rate my Ice Climbers. They are by no means super good, and I'm still working on alot of stuff. Please help me (Without being a *****) on how to improve. Please watch them both, they are very short.

Sariku (Ice Climbers) VS. NES n00b (Mario)

Sariku (Ice Climbers) VS. Fro (Falco)

-----------------------------------------

Also, why does your partner taunt for no reason when you respawn? You can see in my first match, VS. NES n00b, my partner taunts when I come back to life. I even went on a little hissy fit about it during the match. For those who can't hear I said (After I lost my second stock) :

"WHY DO THEY TAUNT!?"

N00b said something here...

"CHU DAT'S DOESN'T TAUNT!"

N00b waits a few seconds then says "Yes they d-"

" I DON'T SEE THEM TAUNT!!"

So, any of you have any answers?

you should use more uairs and use more utilts against falco. Also be sure you work on this, your grabs. Make sure practice your grabs; you basically wasted everyone of your grabs. Also dont use blizzard unless there atleast over 40%. Against falco, after up throw try a dash attack. It will set up you up with other things like another grab or smash or utilt.

Oh and taunting thats just a bug in the programming. Like how lvl 1s taunt after they die if they manage to kill you once.

1) Too much rolling. I don't know if some of those are flubbed wavedashes, but when you play good people you don't want to be rolling all the time. You should never roll just as a means of getting around. That's what WD and regular dashes are for.

2) Fastfall your aerials. You're not Luigi; spending too much time in the air = bad. Especially against characters like Falcon or Marth.

3) Be more mobile. I saw like two wavesmashes and not a single JC grab or WD grab. You need to be able to attack and defend while moving, otherwise it's real easy to predict/react to your moves and punish them.

4) Know the range of your attacks, and don't do unnecessary things. If someone's three character lengths away, don't try to grab them while standing still, and so on.

The main thing that you would have to work on judging from the video is chaingrabs and spacing.

Also, It's ICs. Not icees, or something like that.

fun fact:

sometimes you can prevent the taunt if you jump or WD right away

more reliable method: side-B syncs nana immediately so she won't taunt for sure.

up-B stops the taunt also but that is dumb.

using side-B to come down, however, uses up your invincibility time... so if you can do damage with it, then by all means. i actually use it a lot to come down on a stage like yoshi story because i HATE when she taunts on the top platform. it actually saves some time on yoshi story because you can approach your opponent on any part of the stage with side-B because the stage is small enough.
