Overall his play is just too reflexive, rather than reactive. What I mean by that, is, he is playing purely be muscle memory based on what he has done before, rather than observing his opponent and playing based on that.

He needs to pay closer attention to the match and react to his opponent rather than just doing what he's already done many times.

Do either of you know what air dodging or spot dodging are?
Also, he needs to spam less dsmash and spam more dair.
Needs to glide WITHOUT using SL, and time the attack better, there were so many missed glide attacks i started to laugh. The best thing you can do for his, is pick up metaknight yourself, i never realized how bad i was at it until i played a better metaknight, for some reason, that is really the only way to get better at him.
He needs to dthrow more, try showing him the dtilt grab combo, pretty basic and very effective. Not sure of MK can CG fox or not...

no, i wasn't being sarcastic. We do that all the time we just didn't know what is was called. Just in this video we didn't do it as much. I remember one time we kept spot dodging eachother's attacks and it took like 5 seconds before someone got hit.

Your brother needs to set the tempo of the match.

Mach Tornado was barely used until towards the end of the match.

Drill Rush should have been timed better.

DO NOT spam D-smash, wait until opponent has gotten back into the arena.

Mix in D-cape, not all the time, though.

All in all, tell your brother that he needs to set the tempo of the match and everything will fall in to place.

it depends on how they fall, but yes you can, i guess its wrong to call it chaingrabbing but the idea is there...

wow surprised those down smash still killed your second stock after he abused it lol . He needs better DI stayed in your jab combos way too long . He probably didnt spam tornado since the time he did use it he got punished which shouldn't be happening anyways .

yes, his downsmashes are very very annoying.

To be honest I haven't seen too many 12 year olds who seem to be pretty good.

He needs to be more aggressive. More aerial attacks, more ftilts and fairs. He overuses d-smash, and yeah I didn't see too much in terms of dodging and such.

I'd also like to see more short hops, etc. Better spacing.

But I am impressed based on his age...
