How about Nintendo make a GCN inspired Wii U Pro Controller? I consider the GCN controller to be the "official" Smash Bros. controller, like how arcade sticks are really good for fighting games (Street Fighter and Vs. Capcom). Otherwise, I see the Wii U Pro Controller good enough for Smash Bros. 4.

I may be in a minority here, but I'm gonna just adapt and use the Wii U Pro controller. Not every future system is gonna have a Gamecube controller adapter, best to learn to adapt.
