I agree how this game has combos and whatnot. Though, it's attacks in succesion based on enemy DI. (See dthrow flowchart).

Now if there weren't droughts of two seconds or whatever, then yes.
Oh.. I'll say good job on beating up on the DK before death. Which is great, of course.
I doubt anyone ever said you or the DK was bad in this thread either, so why bring up the DK's credibility as a good player?

if you wanna argue your definition of combo to me, it's kind of pointless, because i've already decided on mine and it's attacks in relatively quick succession, without getting hit, because you outsmarted your opponent. and that's basically everyone's definition of combo in brawl, hence the reason everyone says "true combo" when referring to something different. melee combos were attacks in succession based on enemy DI and tech direction. not in brawl, which is why the term "true combo" has emerged to describe the melee type of combo (which ALSO was escapable; they were done by PREDICTING the enemy's DI and tech direction in most cases, which brawl combos are also based on. why does nobody take that into account?)

and the thing about sk was a completely different discussion.

Rocann, please read all of what I say before responding to it please. I said good job on consecutively hitting the DK. Good job on not being hit. Bad job on thinking it's a combo.

Now, if you did moves that were one after the other as opposed to HUGE droughts as I said, that's a combo. This is just you beating on him in a positive way. Combos are when you do what you did, but attacking at a good pace, not a slow one.

You are arguing it is a combo. It isn't.

Stop trying to sound good and stuff seriously in a topic that is a joke.

there was one "drought" of one second, everything else was under a second pause. I don't know how fast you want me to go, the lag on olimar's moves was 3/4 of the time between most hits. and yes I know it wouldn't have been a 'combo' if I had hit him with the usmash, hence the "failed" part. and obviously when he is airdodging can't count towards whatever timer is running because the whole thing that makes it good "attacking before dying" is that whether he airdodged or NOT he was going to get hit because he gets hit coming out of it. like in melee, what made a combo good is when you can tell a guy knocks someone down then no matter which way they tech they're going to get hit because he's going to make the right decision afterwards.
