Is it possible to have 2 people play from the same Wii online against either random people, or friends? If so, how?

yes just get the other person to press the start botton on their controller and the other player will join (as long as your opponent accepts)

I don't think you can do it against random people, though.

you cant do it with random people, only friend battles
