Question On Shield HP

Hey I recall recently seeing something about shield damage that said the light shield has less hp than the full shield. I'm looking for that **** and and can't remember where I saw it... but I did find an old scotu post which said they have the same HP and the only difference is the shield decay. Which is it and what are the exact values of Shield HPs light/full. Thanks.

Edit:
Found it. It was magus, and he said:
Z shield has 68 health, and hard shield has 83.
Now, so who is correct? is it a difference in health AND shield decay as well... like both are correct except scotu was wrong in saying the shield has 215 hp??

If someone who knows this comes along, I've also wondered how medium shielding fits into this mix. Does is have less stun than light shield, but more than hard shield? How does damage vary from the other two? etc.

You have a single shield health total and the analog input from analog L/R is used to scale the size, shield decay over time, shield damage from attacks, and shield stun/pushback. I imagine Z shield acts as either 0 or 1/255 analog input for the scaling. Inputting halfway on L/R should act as about halfway between lightest and hard shielding, or somewhat close to it (depends how accurate the 'max' analog input it uses when determining the scaling is to what you can actually get out of the full range of motion on the button).

Those amounts were to give an idea of the damage scaling using points of damage. About 68 damage at once will break a full health shield while lightest shielding and about 83 breaks a hard shield, which would mean lightest shielding takes somewhere between 1.20x to 1.25x the damage a hard shield does from attacks. I haven't looked into more exact scaling for stuff when variable shielding, but probably will eventually.

Magus, you da man. Also how should I go about trying to locate the address for Yoshi's jump out of shield? I was thinking to try locating shield size stuff and probe around there maybe or should I be probinh around in the Pl*.dat file and where about inside there would you believe it to be located? :/ how would you recommend looking for something like that? (I'll probably be usin MHS or somethin with a debugger and Dolphin)
