Yes it decays.

Good thing about that though is it leads to combos easier since it won't be knocking them back as much.

Atleast one would think so ,though Im not sure how many it would take for it to be noticeable.

I thought only damage decayed, and knockback didn't.(Well, I didn't think the damage decayed in this particular situation)

i think someone found out earlier that knockback doesn't REALLY decay, it's simply based on the ending percentage. So if an attack does 12% and the opponent starts at 38%, it will have the same knockback as the same decayed attack doing 6% to someone at 44%.

It stales in damage only. Same thing for almost all attacks in the game.

Sheik's up-B explosion, Zelda's din's fire, Samus' charged shot/missiles/bombs, Doc's pills, Mario/Luigi's fireballs, ICs ice blocks, Yoshi's eggs, Link/YLink's boomerangs, Pika/Pichu's thunder jolts, M2's shadow balls, and G&W's sausages all stale in both damage and knockback. There may be a few more, but all other moves only staled in damage. If you noticed they're all projectiles, though not all projectiles staled this way for whatever reason (item based, living, and laser type projectiles don't).
It decays. Dair a character with Ganon till death. when it comes back dair it again and it'll barely move.
Do this except damage them enough on the new stock so both damages after the hit are 22%. They'll be the same. Knockback is calculated by their damage after the hit.

The reason I wasn't sure about this was because I tippered a compie in training 3 times in a row. Ususally moves decay by then right?
