Question about a bug in the notices

Hi all! :)

I'm new here but I'm french...Sorry if my english is not verry good.:dizzy:

I found this website by searching codes for Brawl+ !!

This forum is amazing!
There is a lot of usefull tools like the Brawl Music Swap Code Generator, Brawl Stage Studio, and this amazing Brawl+ project! Yes, this is great!
Thank you guys! ;)

I am here because i have 2 questions to ask you:
- The first time I played SSBB with codes, it was with ocarina.
But since I used it, i have a bug in my notices (in DATA/RECORDS/NOTICES)
The date for some notices is set to "1/1/2000".
I tried to launch my game with Gecko OS 1.07b but there is nothing to do: the bug is always here.

So my question is:
is there a code or a tool to fix this bug? Can I change the dates manually with hex-editing my savegame?

-Is it possible to edit records of the game?
Played time, number of matches, Power on time,...?

Thank you verry much for your help!

I'm glad you're finding the tools useful.

I've never experienced the Ocarina problem (because I never used Ocarina). It's odd that the error hassn't fixed itself from you loading up with GeckoOS. You should be able to fix it by wiping your save data then using 'unlock everything' codes, if you really want to. I don't understand what the fuss is about, though.

In theory it should be possible to edit records, but not very easily. Those things are stored on the Wii's hard drive, which cannot be directly modified - it would be possible to write codes to set them to fixed values, and a skilled coder would probably be able to write a script which will write the values you want to the harddrive in place of the 'real' values. But I don't believe such a code exists at the moment, and most programmers are working on other projects which pretty much contribute more to the game.

I hope this has helped a little.

Thank you for your answer.

I tried the "unlock everything" code but notices are always here, with the bug...

And for the records, maybe we can use the "save game extractor" tool by Waninkoko to decrypt & copy the save game to an SD Card.
But after, I don't know if we can modifying files....

when you use Orcarina, the date sets back to 1/1/2000 until you turn it off. If you unlock anything during this time, it is saved as being unlocked at that date.
