Nah, they just don't check you during peak hours since there're too many people. Only on trains, though.
If you 'do' see some 'ticket checking' people... Well, you're screwed.
I've only been checked EARLY in the morning and LATE at night.
I.E - 7 AM and 8 PM.
So I'm guessing around mid-day to maybe 5 PM nothing really happens. =]

I wouldn't mind a game even though I suck.

Hi brisbane people!

i'm an average-ish level melee player wanting to get into brawl, was wondering if anyone here holds regular gatherings of any sort? sounds like indoor soccer's the thing at the moment, but i've never been good with... balls... o_O

Anyway no one really holds regular meets.
There's Ben and Zac and Peter (Bob/DJ Cat) but they're all sort of random and only invite like the day before.

Considering most people don't have brawl meets will probably be uncommon for a while. And atm any meets are generally very small so people can have a good chance at playing brawl and getting used to the new physics.

Give it a few months and I hope it will be crazy.

I am heading off to Tas on march the 3rd for about 3 weeks, so hopefully I can do something this weekend with some of you sex-gods. I may end up bringing back a ntsc-j wii + brawl myself. I'll see

Toai was like "Give me your email address so you can smash with us", and i'm like "Ok", and then he lost my email address and i've only been to one meet so i'm feeling heartbroken and neglected.
Brawl sounds like fun. Are there any characters that start with a Q? if so i'm maining them (as much as somebody can main a brawl character without a wii)

get that rat - ya i was at OHN4, 5, 6. placed 13th in melee :p

WRT no meets, that's a shame. I'd love to get into it, as Replay's only got one Tekken 6 machine, and it's 2 bucks a game. That means waiting 45 minutes for a turn on busy nights, for expensive expensive 2.5 minute games :p

Ge the freeloader moose and just import the American version. I am hoping I'll get a Wii while back in Tassie and I'll just do that trick.
