Ya lol I went over to his place and we ended up playing halo for hours, then we had to go set up the LAN stuff for tomorrow. Uli's is pretty good and it gets the job done, but we're making a flyer for the Wednesday smashfests and the Halo 2 LANs so we'll definately be making a PP2 flyer for UNL...should be up by monday

It would bring more people to pp2, cause Samus sucks and all good smashers know that Marth is the king...But other than that little mistake in charecter selection good job

Mo I hope you realize how much you're being like Mike when you say that... whenever you lose you just can't accept it, you always have to say you werent trying, and thats not even somethin about me, even when you lose to mike or somethin you just say you werent trying to win, you are the one that says you ALWAYS play to win thats just how you are.

If someone were to just sandbag to me, I would not want to move on to the next match, If I beat someone I want it to be because I actually deserve to win, not because someone was letting me. nah I better edit this before people start crying... it was a JOKE... but now for an actual update...

We are going to be doin a diff rule set this time around, that is actually used at alot of bigger tournaments around the country and is starting to grow a bit more popular. It's known as the strike/ban rule.

If you have no idea what the strike/ban rule is... its not too much different from your traditional banning of stages. However, you're going to be allowed to technically "ban" 2 stages per set.

I know you all know what banning is, its just banning a stage before you start your set. Striking is the banning of a neutral (random) stage. So lets say I'm about to start a set with someone, I ban FD, and Onett, and they are allowed to ban their stages, say Battlefield, and Mute City.

With this rule however, striking can ONLY be used to ban a neutral stage, and banning can ONLY ban a non-neutral stage. ex. - you can't ban FD and PokeStadium.

as a reminder, the 6 neutral stages are going to be FD, Battlefield, PokeStadium, Fountain of Dreams, Yoshi's Story, and Dreamland 64. Meaning after the 2 strikes from players, 4 stages will be up for random.

edit - ACTUALLY: ignore this idea... I think we might use this for the regional tournament if it goes down.

Meh, just wasn't feeling that tournament after the way the brackets worked out and we all had to play each other instead of Kansas, plus I get first in my pool and get seeded with darkrain and Mike, while the second place guy gets seeded against....yosh. Loved that.

I've spent months working on the Halo scene, and epoc and I are working on something that no one has ever seen or thought of, and is completely original. It shifts perspective, changing the 1st person veiw of a match to 3rd person, and vis-versa. We will also be able to capture a match from any angle, from any player perspective, or 3rd person perspective at every ideal time (and length of time). We will be able to broadcast a match the way the world would watch any other professional sport big enought to make it to any major television network. The cool thing about it is that we will have the option of looking at a match from the 1st person perspective and see the game through the eyes of the player... If you don't really understand what I'm talking about it's kind of hard to explain, especially to someone who's never played a 1st-person shooter before.
