As far as Setups go, I have this:
-Venue - TV

-Echo - TV/Cube
-Ms. Echo - TV/Cube, Maybe 2 TV's...
-Echo's Mom - TV
So its obvious we need to try to get some people to bring TVs/Cubes if possible. Just remember if you bring a cube you have the game and memory card... some people forget x_x

ya it definately all depends on if people know about it or not. There weren't a lot of people at this last one cause no one knew about it so.... fixing that problem.....riiight....now pure pwnage is on facebook. There will be a hundred or so people that will be in this group in less than a month. lol I made it 2 days ago and it has like 40 members already. I can use it to send out an email to everyone that has joined it so they'll know, they are all people who like to play. Most of these people don't even know tournaments exist...its pretty rediculous. I'm trying to think of other ways to spread the work too.

O ya MLG on Nov. 11th too....smashes to the masses lol

I'll bring at least 1 quality cap card. I might have my microphone by then too....MIGHT, so we could have player commentary for the championship matches or something. It would be pretty easy to do too we could just have the 4 or 2 people that just played talk about the match or just about anything relevant..or not relevant w/e. The mic im looking to buy is dynamic so they can just sit, watch, and talk normally. If you've seen VoD they have announcers that are complete noobs and are just annoying. I don't know why they don't they have the players talking about the match so at least we could know what is going on in their heads, or what they are like or what they sound like in person. However, i do suggest if you someone has 25 bucks to spend buy a VoD pass and watch Ken, PC, Isai, Azen....

i'm thinking about starting to plan a very large tournament in omaha, I will talk to you guys about it on AIM or at this tourney or something, but I have talked to Prime and I think it could be real. I just need to find alot of people that would actually promise to go to it, unlike the gamers tourney where we had alot of people from all over NE say they would be ther eand no one actually showed.

If there was a nationwide smash tourney thet dot would be the ideal place to have it. I made this map for NebraskaHalo a few weeks ago. The thing about it is Boost Mobile, Gamestop/EBgames, and Scion are the only official sponsors for the MLG events. I am actually very limited with nothing on my computer but Paint...

I made a flyer last time, but I mean... its not near as cool as anything someone with photoshop could do, so if you have any programs better than paint, feel free to step up and say that you could make something much cooler...lol

otherwise, I'll work on something as soon as I wake up, which will probably be like, 1pm.

btw - my counter-strike has somehow just gone completely missing, now I have no FPS to play :'( Its so much more skillful than rigged space animals in smash... ah well I gotta find something to do, I've been playin too much SNES lately.

At the moment, I lack the proper equipment to make a flyer, so yeah Uli or Legion or anyone if you want to try to make one to put around your schools or anything, go ahead and give it a shot. All I have is paint, and stuff like this is the best I can do:

See how I cant even blend stuff together? If I go all colored it doesnt work too well, and even in Black and White it still is too hard to read...i mean look at the $ signs in the bottom right, no one can read that...

i really outta try to get something to make better sigs/flyers and whatnot, but atm I have no money... I'll have to see how big the check from Gamers is gonna be... or if it even comes.

anyway I am hoping someone can just use that as a type of example and work you rway off of it, if you want to you can add stuff like "bring your own controller" and whatever, maybe we can have a contest! ^-^
