I'm sure there are many who play smash64 online and who use a controller. I am wondering if there are any who could help me with this problem. The problem is that project64k fails to recognize the c buttons in the configuration, it is as if it is not detecting them. With regular project 64, this is not a problem.

PLEASE... help. This is highly frustrating and I don't want to be forced to say that I wasted money buying this n64 controller adapter.

be sure to tick off the rad data box, and to my undertanding the nrage plugin is best suited for controllers.

Your problem is almost certainly that you're still using the default controller plugin. Download Nrage's plugin and select it in your plugins list; you should be fine.

ooo, ok figures out that I was doing it all wrong with nrage previously. I'm dumb, I didn't realize that I didn't have the correct controller selected. Seems I have it now.

Thanks all.

Now it seems that when I go online to play it doesn't allow me to control anything whether controller or keyboard. This is with nrage

Edit: I tried different versions of nrage, and the problem still exists

I forgot which plugin it was, but whatever the default plugin that pj64k uses, is what it will always use going online. Therefore, you must rename your nrage plugin to that default plugin, and delete the default plugin (put it in a separate folder just in case).

Can someone tell me which plugin folder this would be? I assume it would have Jabo in the name but I'm not sure which one exactly. I'll mess around with it in the mean time
