Haven't done one of these in a while.

Anyhoo, the main goal behind this was to utilize Salamence's overlooked brother with better typing, but crappier stats, Flygon. It's really an amazing Pokemon, and recently, I haven't seen too much of it.

Anyhow, this is it:

Azelf @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn
- Explosion

I've been trying this out since Kirbyraeg posted it here, and in all honesty, it is AMAZING. I don't care for taunt too much, since my entire team will either take neutral or less damage from SR, so U-Turn is a much better option.

Flygon (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Outrage

The entire inspiration behind this team. Choice U-Turn is fun. STAB Earthquake is fun. Resisting SR is fun. I chose Stone Edge over Fire Blast to help deal with DDGyara. Jolly nature to outspeed neutral +1 Salamence.

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
- Explosion

What's not to love about Heatran? It helps keep my Scizor alive, it has great synergy with the rest of my team, and it keeps so many pokemon in check it's not even funny.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Celebi has recently become a favorite of mine, since the banishment of Latias. Spreads Paralysis till the sun comes, makes little baby buffalo (TTar) cry.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Surf
- Ice Beam

Standard WishPasser Vaporeon, with Ice Beam instead of HP Electric, to obliterate some pesky Dragons. Vaporeon is one of my favorite Pokemon, second only to Breloom and Scizor. It's just a wonderful tank, and fits well almost anywhere. You all know what it does, and I don't care too much for explaining if you don't. I <3 Vaporeon.

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch

CB Scizor lol. It does its job, and it does it well.

Anyhoo, that's it.

All opinions are greatly appreciated. I noticed I have a bit of a problem with CM Suicune, any suggestions on that?

CM Suicune should be able to get walled by Vaporeon, who doesn't care how much SAtk the thing's accumulated. The only real way to get it out of the way until you actually have the resources to deal with the thing, though, is with phazing. It's notable that you have only a CB Scizor for real physical power, as Scarf Flygon is really only notable for how quickly it can get its STABs in.

If you run Leech Seed on Celebi you don't have a weak to CM Suicune.

Also I would suggest a substitute heatran set for this team.

nasty plot infernape causes a good amount of troubles for your team

might wanna do something about that

you're also carrying a lot of choiced pokemon, which is forcing you to switch a lot, i would change heatran to a life orb set or something

How would Leech Seed protect me from Ice Beam, Art?

I'll test out subTran, and see how it works tomorrow.

I don't really see NPApe as a problem, as it is revenge killed by Flygon, and Vaporeon scares it off fairly well.

I really appreciate the feedback guys, keep it coming. :)

1: He's saying that Vappy will better deal with any non-offensive Suicune, but that leech seed will provide extra insurance vs. a late-game crocune.

2: Subtran is great, this team doesn't really need Choice Scarf on your Heatran, but I'd actually suggest Taunt over Explosion and Sub over Dragon Pulse as frequently taunting things that come in can be effective enough to give something else on your team a free turn to wreak havok. It'll also stop stat-up things that try to switch in on you.

3: Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe try thunderpunch over Stone Edge, but that's just an issue of reliability vs. better coverage.

4: Here's a set I like for Celebi, it's very anti-meta but requires recovery support (which Vappy can provide):

Celebi @ Life Orb
232 HP/244 SpAtk/32 Spe
Modest/Natural Cure

Thunder Wave
Leaf Storm
Earth Power
Psychic/HP Fire/U-turn

It's a bit of a modified Tinkerbell set that basically sacrifices its recovery for the ability to sweep on its own completely and eliminate its counters perfectly. Earth Power does great vs. Steels, and leaf storm hurts everything else. Thunder Wave is obvious, as Celebi is one of the best things that can throw around Thunder Wave in OU. I'm a fan of Psychic, but HP Fire obviously has its uses as well (don't forget 4 more EVs in speed lol). U-turn is also a great option in the last spot as nothing would like double switching right into a u-turn, which Thunder Wave can sometimes encourage.

5: I am finally a Pokemon master now. :3

Nice team.

I suggested Leech Seed because then you can seed it and GK it to death. Even through +2 Sp. Defense.

If you want use Roar on Vaporeon to force it out, and then have Perish Song on celebi.

I always use Thunderpunch instead of Stone Miss on my ScarfGons.
