Oh my god yes. I owned this game for the Gameboy Color. Hard as hell, so much fun.
Also, we need more genie representation in Smash. They're a sorely underrepresented minority.

Nintendo is going to nickel and dime their Japanese Fire Emblem fans by offering each campaign, plus a third one, separately as DLC that you can pick and choose what you want when you start the game. And unlike Pokémon, which version you decide to get actually matters to the whole experience.

The best hope right now is since we in the West have to wait until 2016 to play it Nintendo will decide to bundle at least the two main campaigns together and then offer the third as DLC. I don't think Fire Emblem is strong enough in the West to play this kind of bull**** game so we let's see what Nintendo of America does.

I heard about that, and as a hardcore FE fan, it kinda irritated me. What irritated in addition was that they kept Awakening's visual style. Despite my avatar, I actually preferred the Tellius aesthetic to Awakening's more anime and fanservice.

FE is definitely not popular enough for people in the west to buy it twice/thrice. Awakening might have been a success, but it's still a niche series here. Pokemon is not, which is why it gets away with that sort of thing.

Also, until Nintendo revamps their online digital system, their DLC plan for the game does not appeal to me one bit. The plan is, like said above, basically just you buy one path, and then the other is available at a discount. NoA did, however, advertise this as one game, and has said zero about there being two versions, so I'm thinking it's all going to be bundled together as a full price game.

I'm seriously hoping it's a Japan-only thing. The last thing I want to see is Intelligent Systems get another strike on the list of stupid **** they've done (with or without the involvement of Nintendo themselves).

Start a petition and send emails saying that you, as a consumer of FE and Nintendo products are offended by the splitting of the game and refuse to support that model.

There is precedent for Japan to have multiple versions and for the west to only get one/the definitive version. Monster Hunter does this a lot, having multiple updated versions come out per "game" and the west basically getting the final/full version. Hopefully, it's the same here.

Sucks if you live in Japan though. I hope this doesn't set a precedent for how Nintendo might be handling DLC from now on in their games. It reeks of the same kind of stuff EA did with the Mass Effect DLCs(locking away characters and major major plot points and story), and that's not a practice I want to support.

Just saw a burlesque show at my uni. It was fantastic.

I also got to see the best Smash player at my uni, who was in it, in nothing but a thong and a blonde wig. He's a 6 foot tall black man. He also danced with me after, sexily. I think we're both straight. But after that, I might be less straight.

G dang it. Thought I was going to play D3 for sure in a tournament next week (gameclucks up in seattle, first smash tournament I'm going to), but then went I went to a training session with two of my friends I couldn't do anything with him. Turns out my Ganon was doing the best by far, I love how he plays. Learning tech skill in the lab =/= actual skill in matches obviously.

Skimmed the past few pages so I may have missed things, but...

@Hylian @Warchamp7 I understand wanting to condense the character boards layout given the amount of scrolling involved, but I'm not sold on the new setup. If you insist on maintaining some semblance of that layout then I'd potentially suggest reordering them alphabetically by column rather than row? I feel like that might work slightly better.

Also @ standardtoaster standardtoaster shoot me your info.

haha, a friend and i found out about that way back when. it's real silly fun. sadly, marth's is the only counter it works with, otherwise roy's would be crazy fun to high risk counterdeathgame with.

That'd probly kill me. I don't know how people can constantly watch such soul-less looking stuff.

I'm currently going through where I thought the date (which was like the whole day) went great concerning connection but she hasn't texted back yet (date was Thursday, I didn't send her a text until today saying "How's it going"). I had this same thing a couple years ago, even though they're down to make out and everything until they leave: something(s) went wrong or something they won't tell you and for that or whatever reason they don't want to see you anymore. I'm questioning how I should follow-up, so tomorrow I could send a message asking what went wrong or call her and ask: I have no clue but I'm definitely not gonna do nothing. There's obviously a few routes I could try here depending on if I want to try and win her back or something or just try to learn the most out of it with what I did wrong, but I don't know which one to chose. If I was honest to her about how she really did feel like the perfect match for me I presume I would look way too needy and stuff, but so far I haven't acted like that on our date or anything: which idk was the right choice or not. I keep hearing you got to look not needy at all and super confident, like you shrug everything off. How inhuman am I suppose to be acting. If I was a smart loser I'd have put my phone on record for the 9 hour thing to try and hear what I did wrong.

I also realized I probly don't get along with this girl co-worker enough to hit on her. Which actually felt like a good thing, even still with this recent learning of probable rejection. Her body is so my type, but I wouldn't have enough mental connection. I'm not sure how someone finds me attractive enough to make out with me (and in this past girls case ask me out herself): but then somewhere along the line they secretly lost interest.

I also started feeling better about blowing that opportunity to hit on that girl who was staring with me while working for minutes straight, but now that this happened I feel a bit less so.
