I'd be perfectly fine with Nintendo saying "Eff this, PMBR obviously knows what they're doing" and handing over the license to Smash and all future development to them.

Then swf will no longer need any ads :)

I wouldn't get too excited. The man said it himself that most of the balance is worked on through ffa's battle records. In that context, even vBrawl Ganon would look very "strong".

The Knuckles hate bums me out, especially when it comes from Sonic fans.

I mean this is the same fanbase that forgives Sonic for making really stupid jokes, acting like a complete moron in Lost World and being an ass to his supposed friends all the time.

But since Knuckles is portrayed just as badly they can't forgive him and remember the awesome days?

I hate how fanfic writers and fan artist basically dictate the Sonic cannon to everyone who isn't a Sonic fan and/or didn't play Adventure 2 which is basically the only game that had a plot other than "Stop Mr. Baldy McNosehairEggman". (Yes, Sonic DID call Eggman Mr. Baldy McNosehair in Sonic Colors, **** IT SEGA!)

Isn't part of the problem is the PMBR team is not a company? And just the fact they've typically not supported hacking -- even though that doesn't mean Nintendo shouldn't support the game. Why they don't support competitive gaming and the casual gamers that want to sit down and really enjoy the Smash series as a whole is beyond me.

Also, in light of non-gaming news: my truck is now completely dead! I need to get a new car around $1500 because I am as poor as can be! Go me!

*EDIT* In fact I don't even know if Nintendo or the creator of Smash is aware of Project M's presence, just felt like I needed to add this.

That Shadow didn't survive.

Basically, there is this scene at the end of Shadow with Guns if you run the timer down where Eggman says he saved Shadow's life.

So that one little hidden bit of dialogue means he's alive to them.

But Eggman could be lying just as easily.

The_Enlightenment was the best thing that ever happened to the PM forums. Notice how the PMBR haven't layed their dirty claws 'round these parts ever since.

In my mind, only the true ending of Shadow's Duty: Alien Warfare 3 can be counted as canon
