I think FGC eSports commentary has developed pretty well.

it's not color commentary, but it's very much acceptable and still fairly fun.

Smash eSports commentary has a lot of ****ing work to do.

Then again I mostly pay attention to mid-match commentary. Analyst time = My time to do other things.

But regardless, too many people care about color commentary.
