I have come to the deduction that the problem I have been having with getting Project M to load all the way through (instead it sends me back to the will menu almost every single time) is not a problem with my SD card or P:M build but rather a problem with my Wii. This is based on me trying to load P:M on the Wii-U and it working perfectly and fast the first time. So I guess I need to see about getting a new Wii or sending my current one to Nintendo to see if they can clean/fix it up for me, though I don't know the exact problem with it.
This happened to mine also. Instead, I used homebrew and gecko loader and it works just fine.

If you learn how to install the HBC and add apps you'll never have to do it again, they make it simple enough in the instructions and the programs too.
12 year old me figured it out, and now I haven't had to put any effort into anything on my wii for 5 years.

Waking up early in the morning takes more effort than installing HBC and you do that everyday.

Just go for it and then you'll see how simple it actually is. The most time consuming part about installing HBC is having to setup your Wii (cables and other crap I mean).

If you have a copy of Brawl you can just use Smash Stack to install it on any version of the Wii (4.0, 4.3, whatever). Then you can download homebrews like loaders to play your games on a HDD, apps that can be used to upgrade your Wii without losing the HBC, emulators and other crap.

And BootMii/Riivolution (I use the first one) makes it so that you'll never get a brick.

Maybe this will help you:

Ewwwww. I don't want to mess with cables. Didn't even realize that was going to be needed. So much for that.

I'm just going to leave myself to @ PlateProp PlateProp 's mercy and hope his fix doesn't entail me having to lose my current P:M build as I know he doesn't like it :p.

Sounds good, if you want Instant messaging aside from the Fightcade client itself we could both go on the PM Discord thing or Skype
