I think your misunderstanding was how the % functions, as 10%10=0, not 1.

Also, your else statement does nothing, essentially, as it just receives a boolean that it does nothing with, whereas it should be returning the result of the recursive call.

I know 10%10 is zero, thats why the recursion divides the zero the ones place away;
I changed it to: else return hasOne(n/10);
I didn't realize that I have to return what happened in my else, makes sense though. Thanks.

So I'm working problems for CS:
"Given a positive int n, return true if it contains a 1 digit. Note: use % to get the rightmost digit, and / to discard the rightmost digit."
I thought, "I've seen things like this, I can use recursion."

for some reason when n is passed through as 10, It returns false. I thought it would get caught by the first recursion because (n/10)%10 does in fact equal 1.

Won't this code always report a positive? The code will continue to loop until the integer equals 0 or the modulus equals 1, and then it will return true.

For example, if you plug the number 3 into this code, it will find n%10==1 false, go to n==0, find it false, and then run the function again with n/10, which equals 0. It will then find n==0 to be true and return true. This will occur with every number you input.

RIP Sennheiser PC320 headset. Lasted a good 3-4 years of beatings. Kitten chewing on cord, cord getting caught on chair at least once a day, running over the cord with the chair, dropping it ( usually because its caught in the chair when i stand up). Ironically It was not the cord that broke but the left part of the headset itself when i stood up with the cord caught in the chair for the ten thousandth time. Ducktape fixed(kinda) that and it still somehow has perfectly good sound! Gonna need to look for a replacement. Any recommendations? Preferably not a headset with a 9.8ft cord. Price range of around $100

AudioTechnica ATH-M50s tend to be one of the highest recommendations for headphones in that price range. $125 on Newegg presently. I don't own a pair, but I may get one sometime soon, and I've had good experiences trying them out in the past.

If you want a cheaper set of cans, you can go for Sennheiser HD280 Pros, which are decent closed-backs that now sell for the fairly impressive price of $70. They're the quality you'd expect of a $100-150 pair of headphones, but hey're cheap nowadays because they've been around so long. I have a pair myself, and they've served me very well. But if you have glasses, be wary of it - they clamp fairly hard, so can get uncomfortable after long sessions of wearing them.

If you want open backs and are willing to put down some extra cash, I cannot recommend the Beyerdynamic DT990 Pros enough. They'll run you about $150 at least, but they are fantastic headphones that are incredibly comfortable. Great soundstage, good bass without it overwhelming anything or being unbalanced like many sets designed more for hip hop and electronic music, while still maintaining good listening quality for those genres.

To elaborate how I got lost: I fell asleep on the wrong bus and got off as soon as I realized I was going the wrong way, too bad there wasn't a way to get to the other side of the street.

I walked about half an hour not seeing a single crosswalk, I'm not going to just jaywalk a 4 lane highway with trucks and **** going by every two seconds, so I ended up just getting on the bus again and finding the train station from there.

This is why I need a car. But, now that I think about it I wasn't really that lost because we have a convenient metro system here lol.

I think I can safely say FE7 in my official new fave of the FE series. I loved the Tellius games but this one just takes the cake. And I haven't even finished it yet, though I'm close, at like chapter 29x I think. Seriosuly can't wait to do a Hector Hard Mode run (with Lyn's story because I wanna get the gaidens on his mode with their convoluted requirements) for a, hopefully, real challenge, cause normal mode (which I had no choice but to do cause the game thinks I'm dumb or something) really isn't cutting it (aside from chapter 26x which was more of a pain in the ass then actually difficult). I just ripped through chapter 29 like the enemy was hot butter.

My glasses were already broken and I've had them since my Junior year of High School. The entire frame had rotted at this point, the right arm fell off and could only stay on via tape, which wasn't even working well anymore, the non-scratch lens became highly scratchable due to falling in the pool and getting covered in chlorine, the frames were twisted and bent oddly and completely uneven in all directions on my face, though you'd only notice if you looked closely and they tire my eyes out during the day as a result of how they are now if too much light is on my eyes, hence why I wear a hat all the time to keep shade on my eyes. Well, that's one of the many reasons I wear it, anyway.

Glasses suck. Contacts can be a ***** too, though.

Lots of really competent characters, some often times ridiculous chapters (including a 72 turn limit Conquer objective on a huge map), and some really ridiculous items (like giving one of the main characters what is effectively a stat-boosting Brave Sword that uses Durandal's animations). Also, probs the best Near Victory theme in the series.

A Graceling is someone born with 2 different colored eyes. These 2 different eye colors certain people are born with denote that they have a special power/talent of some kind (ranging from anything to proficiency in fighting or skill in a particular weapon or proficiency in killing or proficiency in survival or a really good swimmer or cooker or some rarer ones like mind reading and being able to make people dream about a certain thing). There are currently three books in all that deal in the same world but the first one goes the most in depth about Gracelings (kinda obvious though since it is called Graceling and the main character is a Graceling).

In the second book Fire it's a different land (but same world, and this other land is very close to the land the Graceling's live in but blocked off by mountains) has what are known as Monsters which have very unique hair colors compared to other animals in the same species (Monsters aren't limited to just humans) with mind controls abilities (humans are more attuned for it though) and human Monsters are mesmerizing beautiful that they can make man, or woman, lose all sense of reason. All living Monster left is Fire though.

And there is the third book Bitterblue back to the landing of the Gracelings and about a different character from the first book all grown (well kinda, more like at the age of 18 from being like 8 or something in the first book, forget the exact age of the character in the first book) who isn't a Graceling.

i like my glasses because it really diverts attention from horrible bags under my eyes lol.related to this, apparently my eyes are weird and my glasses need to have this weird prism thing in them to correct my eye position slightly or something. i have 2 pairs of glasses now because it's pretty bad, one for computer and one for long distance. without glasses on i can't see anything clearly unless it's like 6 inches from my face

I also just can't wear contacts, so I just stick with glasses.

Also fire emblem crits chances are horse ****. Spent 45 min doing a level in sacred stones perfectly, recruit/pickpocket/loot/support convo all going right. Last turn before it's just the boss, lose 2 units to <10% crit chances. Arghhh
