The expectation of sex is ridiculous and misguided. People have different comfort levels in how, when, and why they progress through a relationship sexually, and that's okay. It is not only good, but necessary to respect that.

I'm I ignorant for not thinking asexual is a real orientation? I think lack of sex drive can occur for a variety of reasons, but I doubt it means that you have 0 preferences when it comes to sex eventually. I also really doubt that somebody could be absolutely void of desire for sex ever.

Early, astrologers made educated guesses based on their observations. Observe weird things happen on a full moon? My educated guess is that full moons cause weird things to happen. Obviously you are criticizing them merely due to their lack of understanding. Freud took massive leaps in logic every single time he analyzed a dream, and his clinical observations led him to believe that very specific psychosexual stages led to very specific issues later on in life. If failure to potty train can make me a controlling anal person, why can't the moon make me crazy?

This is a crazy stretch to make and you know it. Your childhood experiences do affect your adult personality, to what degree and why is hard to say even today. The moon has no effect on your behavior at all.

So even in hindsight, that was a pointless route to go down. The ways childhood trauma create messed up adults is a very real problem.

Also, things like playing being important for the developing mind and going to school instead of working as a child because you're just a little poor adult? Another thing to thank Fraud for.

****, you are low. But consider this, Freud made lots of "educated guesses", with basically no scientific basis, because he created a theory from which few testable hypothesis could be created. Just because a portion of the things he came up with, like oral fixation being comparable to insecure attachment, resemble modern scientifically tested psychological concepts, and may have inspired them, doesn't make the assumptions he made through the lens of his own theory good "educated clinical observations". You give Freud a pass for being influential and occasionally correct but would laugh at astrology for falling into similar pitfalls as psychoanalysis in creating its assumptions. Played around with peach with the friends, I think I like that character a lot, even though i don't/can't use float the way it's totally supposed to be used. Probably will keep trying her out.
