This good joke just reminds me more of why I hate most generic harem protagonists or anime protagonists in general and prefer ones like Akatsuki from "Aethestica of a Rogue Hero, Izayoi "The Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?", Hyoudo Issei from Highschool DXD, Arata from Trinity Seven and Yu Narukami from Persona 4 (any version).

If I'm gonna have a harem protagonist, let it be a guy that either enjoys being one (Akatsuki), knows he could easily be one (Izayoi), wants to be one (Issei), is completely aware that he is one (Arata), is a natural born one and makes full use of it (Yu) and is all around pretty fun and interesting to watch. (All of the above)
