Did you delete your stages? You have to delete or move your stages to the SD card if you want it to work.

yes I delete all the created stages off of stage builder but nothing still worked. I dont know maybe Im rushing into things. Ima try again later on.

oh wait! I think I messed up on putting the 10 files on my SD Card from the zip folder because I was watching a video on youtube on showing you how to download the patt edition. after you finish downloading the zip, you open it up and it only has 7 files in the zip folder. the zip I downloaded it has 10 files in it so that means I gotta put just 7 files on the SD card, not put all the 10 files in it.

Try to format the 2gb sd card in fat32, also make sure there are no stage builder stages on your wii or sd card.
Odd question but can your wii read that you have an SD card in other games or the home menu? Just curious because this happened to me before and it was because for some weird reason my modded wii decided it was done with sd cards.

My SD Card is completely empty, but the downloading gets an error, and it tells me there is a wrong disk. It eitheir stops at Captain Falcon or Kirby. PLEASE HELP! I wanna play this again!

Try to format the sd card in fat32 as well, do you have another sd card to try just incase it may be the SD card itself with the issue?

Anywho, I can't stress it enough for the people having issues with stage builder not loading it to try and format the sd card and then try again. it just sometimes decides it wants to work or not. I've tried a bunch of random things like, starting the console with the sd card in it, or putting the sd card in it after its started up. Just random things.

Edit: I don't know how I didn't notice pokefloats 2 was on here up until right now <_<;

Hi, I'm on a mac and I'm having trouble extracting the file. I downloaded the file correct, then when it finished extracted it said something along the lines of: The place you are trying to extract to does no exist. The place I tried extracting to was my desktop and i'm 100% sure my desktop exists.

Seriously though I don't blame you... Its very discouraging to come on and see nothing but complaints which most can be solved by a google search or a forum search. ( not saying all of the issues are that simple! I've had my fair share of brick walls I needed help on, if anything try the reddit or IRC if there is one )

Im currently learning to mess with the modpack to be able to change skins/stages right now xD that way I can make sure they work before I suggest something. for example, I tested the casino night zone stage, only to realize that it had no animation on the stage which made it a tad bit lame... but I looked around a bit and found an animated one! (which I added to my post) and was able to make sure it was 3.0 compatible!

This pack is my fav so far because you like to try out new things, such as announcers, menus, stages, and character models/textures. Its also helped me to become more interested in modifying things myself so that I can increase my own joy of the pack. so I hope you don't get discouraged and leave us ;-;

And as Patt says, Keep trying if it does not work the first time. Sometimes the stage builder just does not feel like reading the SD card and there really doesn't seem to be anything specific to trigger it. restart the system and try again. (Make sure to restart the system! not just hit the reset!)

Kinda glad I got into this, Its really giving me something to do lol. ATM im testing out some of those stages that I posted by just doing the super simple moving drag and drop method while renaming things!!! I feel barbaric lol.

The hack looks nice and was neat but in the character selection screen i can't choose anything below the bottom half of the screen where the random slot was and i can't click anything but the fighters on the top half. It wasn't too much of a problem but i couldn't choose a fourth fight and when i switched back to the custom hack i use it does work. I don't know why this happens but just incase this is a bug, i'm telling you and i really want to play this hack fully. Also i'm was using a hackless wii.

Hi Patt! I think I found the solution to my problem of the patt edition not working on my wii. I believe I have to just format my SD card to get it to work like you said. I dont see why people cant understand that, I think alot of these people on here are rushing into it, not reading & following the rules on how to get it to work. all they have to do is format their SD card, download the PMPE 3.0.2-10 zip, copy the files from the zip to the SD card. & after all that is done insert the SD card to the wii, GO TO STAGE builder with no created stages in it & there you go, you have the patt edition. is that correct?

Formatting is different from erasing everything. When you insert the SD card into a computer and rightclick the SD card in the Computer window, you will see an option called Format.

Formatting will delete everything in your card, but just manually deleting everything in your card will not format the SD card.

Formatting is different from erasing everything. When you insert the SD card into a computer and rightclick the SD card in the Computer window, you will see an option called Format.

Formatting will delete everything in your card, but just manually deleting everything in your card will not format the SD card.

Exactly. There's hidden floating bytes that remain even if you delete all the files. Formatting your SD card makes sure they're gone for good.

Yes just drag them all over, I was just trouble shooting it today just to make sure and they do not influence anything. Just keep keep trying until the Brawl gods deem you worthy of modding them.

Weird. I have the classic Project M Screen and I don't have the Mac skin or some of the reskinned stages.

You mean when you go to stage builder? If it doesn't load up within 1 to 5 seconds your best bet is to restart the wii and try again. This is the odd thing I deal with about every 1 in 5 boots hangs up. restarting the system almost always fixed it though.

yeah I format it, downlaod the zip, copy all 10 files into my wii & when I insert the SD card into my wii, it seems like nothings coming up. I hope I didi it right this time.

I read it, but I can't find any info on this in the forums. I fixed the CSS on my own, but I'll keep searching for info on the missing skins and stage skins.
The only thing I found while searching through the pages is that you got married recently, (congrats btw).
Also, One Piece on the Pirate Ship stage was a nice touch.

Also, you might want to avoid a bunch of double posts and just edit them.
