Good games Pudding, I'm going to go now while the shower is free. ;P Gave me a lot of trouble there, with the Din's and what not. I couldn't bring myself to enjoy the run away and Din's approach, so I had to camp back with Falco's lasers, lol. No hard feelings. During that last game though, I literally couldn't catch the rolls last stock no matter how hard I read them... IS NAYRU'S INVINCIBLE!?

Anyway, I'll be going now. Perhaps we can play longer later.

Cool, adding you now. You host? ^^

2752-5011-2230 is mine.

Edit: Got disconnected while trying to join... Shall I try to host?
I thought it'd be fun with Marth but then you brought out Falco to take advantage of my delay to get easy combos. Not cool. =/

GGs anyway.

Marth isn't someone who I really play, I just use him to tests the waters. However, I don't understand what seems to be salt about my Falco... After all, Falco is one of my main secondaries. I don't see how he gets "easy combos" from that.

No salt. Just a case of the un-funs.

DownB, jump, jump, Dair - repeat until 100% or escort the target to the edge. Offline I can act out of the downB stun, online I can't unless the planets are aligned. Zelda's floatiness and the delay means all a Falco player has to do is hit me with downB once. Then it's over unless they miss. It's not too hard to hit me with downB either.

I noticed a few people bring out Falco a few matches in. Which means it's a huuuuge coinkydink or they picked up how my delay works and they want easy kills. Either way I'm not mad, but it does give very little fun value. So I play 3 or 4 times and then I call it quits so the other person can at least get a few fights.

If it were Luigi or Sheik tossing me around like a rag doll then it'd be pretty fun to see. Mostly because my delay doesn't give them an edge.

I can guarantee you that playing falco online is anything BUT easy kills. I would go in-depth but @ someonerandom someonerandom seems to have got that covered lol so I won't

If you think that's how Falco works, there's no point trying to explain to you because your understanding is already so far flawed. Are you trying to discredit everyone who plays Falco here and say they win because of "delay"? Are you going to say my pure reads out of D-throw were because of delay too? There's no way to react to Zelda's rolls online either by the way.

*sigh* By the way, Shine D-air really is a guaranteed combo at certain percentages. Surely you understand that part? Perhaps watch a video or two of Melee Falco? Falco has guaranteed combos offline or not. Zero to deaths are not a rarity against Falco because that's the type of character he is: a glass cannon.

I'm sorry, but you're really not the only one suffering from delay, and if you think so, you're sadly mistaken. Please, if you think everyone is conspiring against you by pulling out Falco... :awesome: No one cares enough to try to figure out how to manipulate your delay. Am I not allowed to play Falco against you? If that's the case, I'd rather just not play you, lol.

Sorry, but I really don't see the need to rag on Falcos only (hence the seriousness of my reply). If you would like to elaborate more on your reasoning, by all means do so because all I got out of this was, "This is how I think Falco works and I'm going to use this as an excuse to dismiss the other player."

Edit: @ JDavisR (NIX) JDavisR (NIX) Indeed it appears he just assumes Falco is easy mode...

Once again before I leave though; not being able to perfect your Din's Fires and dying to messed up wave dashes was because of lag. Delay goes both ways. You are not a special case...

I hope you didn't think I went falco against you because I wanted to take advantage of wifi lol. Falco is my best character by far, anyone here can tell you. I just use Marth at first to see if falco will be needed or not lol ^^

Either way I don't take offense.

Only online. I don't discredit them in normal situations.

No need to defend Falco. He'll still remain unfun for me to fight ONLINE and will still be able to easily combo/kill me regardless of him being a main or secondary. It's a fact of Puddin's Wifi Life and that's OK by me. I can't do anything to stop it, but that's also OK. Falco is a bit of a fun killer and I don't think it's cool to use him for the sole purpose of abusing my delay stun-breaking. Which is one of the few SSBPM things that I'm not OK with because it's mean.

Since he's your main and you're quite adamant, I'll assume you didn't do it on purpose. I wasn't mad to begin with, so it was no big deal. Still unfun tho. But that's OK.

When someone ledge hogs I usually assume they are competitive, so abusing my delay would be something they'd have no qualms with doing. You can probably guess what my first thought is when someone whips out a Falco 1-3 matches it. Something along the lines of NO FUN ALLOWED! It is what it is.

Really fun games. You're darn good. I had to put my P:M thinking cap back on after the first couple of games, but as you can tell, I'm still fairly novice when it comes to how to play P:M. Advice would be much appreciated.

@ SuperMario1 SuperMario1 : Good games, you've gotten a lot better since we last played. Had fun. My Wii shut off while I was at the character select screen (hardware issue with my Wiimote).

You really think so
Not a doubt in my mind. Just try to be more aggressive after you've opened your opponent up, and don't get caught shielding so much. You really trap yourself by shielding most of the time. It's pretty easy to get Luigi offstage if he's sitting in shield near the ledge, which means you're asking to be put into a disadvantageous position by doing so. It was also really easy to read your decisions out of shield, since you usually went for sidestep, grab, or jab.

I know, but for some reason, most of the time my wii freezes when I try to play pm, and if it doesn't freeze, I can never find anyone. My uncle seems to have the same problem.
