Project M isn’t working?

I just recently got Project M, and I haven’t had issues launching it until now. I opened up stage builder and it just went straight to that mode, although it looks like I made a stage that’s loading. Is that the software? When I try to exit out or restart the software, the game just freezes up, so it may just be a Wii problem.

What’s going on?

Edit: nvm it just worked despite me not doing anything differently
