Project M is Getting Its Own Global Ranking System

On December 31, former PMDT official Adam "Strong Bad" Oliver announced the start of PMRank, a panel-based ranking system for Project M. Similar to Melee's SSBMRank, it will gather a panel of experts to collaborate on a list that will show the best players in a year, 2016 being the pilot year.

The PMRank team is searching for as unbiased of a panel as possible to help fill this out. This was the checklist posted:

• Contribute to your local scene or on the regional/national scale, or have done so in the past.
• Passionate about contributing to an accurate ranking.
• Willing to commit time to the project to ensure its proper conclusion.
• Seek knowledge and make data-informed decisions.
• Willing to change your viewpoint when contradictory information presents itself.
• Works well in groups and does not feel threatened when opposing viewpoints are expressed.
