Problems Unlocking Jigglypuff

On IGN it says if you beat Brawl on Classic, you can unlock Jigglypuff, I have 11 times and still no Jiggly. Even tried Normal and Easy difficulty.

It also states if you beat Event Match 20, you will get Jigglypuff. Yet that did not work as well.

Anyone want to help me get Jigglypuff without playing 300 Brawl matches?

Also can I unlock Wolf and Toon Link without beat SSE because I am still in the maze, taking a long time?

I had the same problem as you and ended up doing 300 matches. Just find out how many you need to do, then go to Special Brawl and do as many 1hp flower matches as you need to get to 300.

Thanks, I have been just falling off cliff to get Luigi (I got him in classic but lost the fight lol, also lost first fight with sonic and almost lost second one). I ended up getting most characters through SSE.

Once you finish SSE go to The Forest, The Swamp, and The Ruins to unlock Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff. I forgot which one for each character, but thats what I did and it worked.

I can't help you there... I beat the story in SSE, then unlocked Jiggs, Wolf, and Toon Link.

Maybe you should look for advanced help for the Great Maze. Search a thread or something, because I personally find playing 300 Brawl matches just to unlock someone seems boring...

I agree Yoshistar... I am close to being done with the maze, took a break and let my parents watch tv. Oh, well, looks like I won't get them until tomorrow.

I got Captain Falcon, Lucario, Game & Watch, Ganondorf, and ROB through SSE. Use 10 classics to get Sonic. And matches to get Ness, Marth, and Luigi (although I originally got him SSE but lost the match).

You can get Wolf in subspace by going to the Ruins stage and passing the first door as the platform decends.
The door at the bottom leads to him(You can do this before completing the mode) Or you can do 450 vs matches.

You can unlock Toon Link by going to a secret room in Lost Woods after you complete the subspace emissary, completing Classic on hard with Link, or playing 400 vs. matches.

Looks like if you dont wnna do 300 matches, ur gonna have to finish SSE and go back to the level to unlock jiggs (sorry forgot which one)

Actually, IGN is wrong. The requirement is to beat 20 event matches, not just event match 20. And you must clear SSE first (this goes for toon link, wolf, and jiggs). I had the same problem until I cleared SSE. If you already playd 20 event matches, do SSE then win any event match to fight jiggs.

Yeah, I hate that beat SSE requirement. SSE is great, I love it. I just don't like the maze because basically doing the levels over again which is boring. Those three are the only ones I don't have right now.

Ok beat SSE but Toon Link is tough in forest... I can't beat him, tried 4 times now. I eventually will I guess... I will look up Wolf and Jiggs on youtube soon.

Edit: Got Toon Link with Snake... throw items at him and you can drill him easy.

Exactly my situation, the Great Maze can get repetitive.

But we're gonna hafta do it sometime or another.

Just do it the Subspace way or by beating 20 events. The others ways are extensively ********.

There are three methods.

1. Beat SSE, play any event match. You don't have to win. In fact, you can just quit once you get started and Jiggs will challenge.

2. Beat SSE, go back to the Swamp and find a hidden room. Jiggs will join.

3. Play 350 matches.

I was a little surprised that they put Jiggs in the same batch of latecomers as the "new clones".

Well i'm not sure how you get toon link and wolf out of SSE.
But for jiggs, instead of doing just #20 event, you have to do 20 events.
Not just number 20.
