It isn't illegal, neither is spamming Pikachus UpB, or Fox's Laser, or Wolf's Fsmash. I saw an argument on the Wolf boards about spamming Wolfs Fsmash, somebody brought up the fact that if the move is good we are going to use it, same with Olimars Usmash.

Against heavy enemies, staling out the up smash can sometimes work out very well. Against lighter characters though, this is a bad idea.

Wolf's smash is fantastic against pikmin and that's all we need to know.

But I'd side with Kasha overall I guess. Don't stale your best kill moves unless it's already getting there. If it is, only do it to big enemies. (Repeat)

I'll repeat what I said once again. If you get your upsmash stale and can repeat the thing over and over while following them before they can dodge (Which is true for the heavy characters, as I said) you can easily replace the up smash with a grab at the correct pikmin for the kill. Or of course you always downsmash, as most heavy characters will try to DI down or away from olimar, as opposed to up. (Which is another factor of how most heavy characters I used to do this too can't attack well from the air except maybe D3)
