I was gonna say, it looks like scan lines to me.

The easiest way to make scanlines is make a 6px by 6px document, zoom in, and make a diagonal line from the corners using a 1 px pencil brush. You can probably do the same with a larger size document and brush, for larger scanlines.

I'd like to request the coolest banner ever.
1: Same size as your example banners
2: Ice climbers and marth (any)
3: I want it to be a crew banner, our crew name is Hells Kitchen, our slogan is "denizens of the underworld". I main the IC's and would like to be on the left side, my counterpart is named E-$ and he mains marth. I'd like for this to look amazingly evil and demonic, lots of red and black tones. Also if you could make the ice climbers have stitchfaces that would be super. marth doent have to be anything special just good looking, and evil. I want the IC's to steal the show.
4: Hells Kitchen/Denizen of the Underworld.
5: No one else takes my banner requests, gimme a break.

EDIT: I found a Ic's pic id like to use

I really dont care abou the marth as long as he fits...you can use a better Ic's picture if you think it would work better...your the boss.
