Premier Debates Nominations and Info

So I talked this over with Medicre, and he gave me the thumbs up for this. So here is how it's going to work. For right now, we're only going to have one of these going on at a time. We might expand this, but I want to see how we can handle one for right now. The two debater's topic will be either stickied in the PG or the regular DH. The two debates chosen, and only those two will debate in the thread. We'll also have another thread for everyone else to voice their opinon about the subject, and maybe even discuss the strategies of the two in the actual debate.

Here's what I need for the nominations


Two (Or one if you don't want to name two) who you would like to see debeate each other
Topics for them to debate

So everyone who's interested go nominate! Medicre and I, and possibly CK will decide who the two are.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel a little odd nominating myself for a position of public debate and assume that my debating skills are actually good.

I think delorted has a great point. Maybe you can change the system to people nominating others instead? It wouldn't change the format much now would it?

Sounds like a plan.... from here on out, nominate two people you want to see debating, what they debate ect.

Perhaps the moderators should organize some of the first of the Premier Debates to have the rest of the members get a feel for it and then allow nominations?

I'm excited for the idea, but I don't really know who I want to see debate each other.
