We didn't get to see Sora's Classic Mode route in the presentation, so what do you think we might see? Bear in mind that DLC character routes have never featured characters from other DLC packs.

Here's my prediction:

A route involving characters whose inclusions were met with much surprise and excitement.

I personally feel it'll be something about battling the darkness and have him allying himself with two characters (for a party of three) on stages versus an enemy character, for example:

Round 2: Vs. King K. Rool on Jungle Japes (w/ DK and Diddy as allies)
Round 3: Vs. Dark Pit on Skyworld (w/ Pit and Palutena as allies)
Round 4: Vs. Cloud on Coliseum (Exception)
Round 5: Vs. Ganondorf and Dark Link on Temple (w/ Link and Sheik as allies)
Round 6: Vs. Bowser (w/ Mario & Luigi as allies)
Final Round: Honestly, any boss could work here, but I'm gonna pick Dracula (w/ Simon and Richter as allies)

I’m new, so I have no clue how to use the icons, so bear with me. I also only have general ideas, rather than the whole thing.

A Battle against “Dark” Link and “Fierce Deity” Link:

The logic is that Dark Link is Link’s shadow in many games, and there are more than one instance of Sora’s shadow turning into a heartless.

As for Fierce Deity Link, he comes from a mask that contains the body, but not the soul, of a person. Literally a nobody.

Link (Hero of the Wild Tunic) (Ally) against... Well I haven’t completed this idea:

Link is an ally, because in the previous battle, his Heartless and Nobody were destroyed, thus recreating the original.

Black Knight Armor and Helm Mii Swordfighter (Ally) vs the “Gruntilda” Banjo & Kazooie:

Banjo & Kazooie are a stand in for “Terranort”, since they look like they are possessed by Gruntilda in that costume, while the Mii is still representing the Lingering Will/Terra.

I like that, give duck hunt the shield item and either a fire flower, freezer or fairy in a bottle to represent donalds magic. just make the cpu allies throw the healing item off the stage when you need the heal

I know people are going to roll their eyes at that last one, but I can dream, can't I? I'd like to fight those two outside of World of Light, especially since unless you want to fight them individually you need to go through a platforming segment AND a boss rush in order to get to them every single time you want a rematch. Plus, come on, a fight against light and dark entities for the boss? That's about the most appropriate thing for Sora in the history of ever. I doubt it will happen, but again, I can dream. Also, I so wanted to put Sephiroth, but I doubt DLC characters would ever be put in Classic mode.

I personally would prefer “DLC Smash” even for those who don’t have ALL the other DLC fighters (Mii Fighter DLC Costumes not included). As for the boss, I don’t really care. If his boss is the hands, I will not be surprised in the slightest.

Piranha Plant can share Hollow Bastion with Sora since it doesn’t have its own unique stage like every other fighter after it.
