I'm considering maining/seconding MK in Brawl, and I've been wondering: Would getting used to Kirby's movement (jumps, dodges, falling speed, etc) help at all with MK in Brawl?

If you haven't heard by now, Melee and Brawl are two different games.

Just because I'm good with Kirby in smash64 doesn't mean I'm good with Kirby in Melee (even though I am good with Kirby in Melee)

Yes, Meta Knight felt very familiar to me. Once I got used to the controls of the game, it was like playing Kirby who is easier to combo with and doesn't die nearly as quickly. In fact, I think I had an easier time adapting to the game than most people because I was used to the "floaty" style of gameplay after years of maining Kirby.

One thing though, Meta Knight felt like he had a "forward" facing fighting style. Kirby does a lot of things backward (B-air, U-tilt, etc). Because of this, Marth wouldn't be a bad idea to play too. Meta doesn't have nearly the range of Marth's sword... maybe not even the reach of Roy's, but Marth is floatier of the two, so plays more like him.
