Hey I just joined the forums. I just started playing again a while ago and I'm stuck now not really improving. So I was wondering is there anything you guys do to practice

Give it time and just play games. it will naturally come back, attempting shortcuts with this stuff only brings frustration IMO.

If your combos aren't good, just practice them in training mode until they are.

If your spacing isn't good, play as many matches as you can.

If you reach a point where you're not improving, stop playing to win, find a new perspective for the game and explore all your options.

Wow not playing to win is a good idea I never thought of that
What I mean by that is that you play to learn instead.

It can be perceived as a form of sandbagging/underplaying. To give you a little idea, you basically try never to go for the same/most efficient/typical combos or movement. Find out new stuff, experiment with some things. For example, if you play Falcon, don't do your bread and butter uair combo all the time, try some stuff you've never done before. In the beginning you might lose more games than usual, but in the long term, you'll get a far better understanding of the game.

Don't ignore the mental side of the game. Try to learn to predict what your opponent will do based on his habits, and what kind of habits people have in general. Pay attention to how the first hit is landed on you, and try to make sure it doesn't happen again. Pay attention to how you land the first hit on them, and learn what approaches work. Have you tried playing online?

Practicing with CPU's can work wonders. If you'd like to work on combos practice on a level one, and keep raising the levels once you start getting back in your groove.
