POSTPONED**Thanksgiving tournament in RGV. POSTPONED**

So yeah in celebration of mikeys long awaited return to the rio grand valley I will be hosting a melee/melee 2.0 tournament on saturday Nov. 29. Only one rule needs mention for this tournament. ****We will not be playing brawl**** only melee 2.0. Seriously we are all in agreement on this. Standard ruleset for melee and melee 2.0 will apply. This is all, please post and enjoy. Teams and all that other good stuff also.

We are located in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas and I will not post directions to site since upstaters will not come down and play anyways so no use wasting our time advertising......... except for Crystal City since they are the Best..... plus the valley knows the location of site anyways also.........anyways!


PS location is probably mikeys house
Estimated prize money..... significantly higher than Majiks Bi-weeklies.

Btw this tourney will happen and the turnout will be very good...... I expect the entire valley to show up..... B'ville, Weslaco, Donna, McAllen, PSJA area, lyford,Ramondville, Harlingen and mission..... and some smashxicans will also be there. Guaranteed.... not just any guarantee, but a Robmoney GUARANTEE.

You realize that there is no standard ruleset for Brawl+? What codes would you be using?

pfft who needs rules, its the valley.

it will be FFA/coin battle first make enough money to buy a burger in reynosa wins.

in all seriousness. codes will probably be melee air dodge system, s-canceling(super broken), hitstun(havent tried 1.2 yet), and no trip modifier thing.

yeah he does. its like his only tech...... well plus the swd...... and the missile cancel.... and extender..... and recovery..... and down air to down air to fsmash..... and ahh heck just forget it.

wait, so this is happening on thanksgiving day? Then this is gonna be hard for me to attend, and should be hard for anyone else to attend. Or is this done on an other day?

I'll be glad to see everyone again. (I might Cry). Slapping the controller out of my hand is the only way majora can beat me. I want a Doomwich even if i dont get 4th. I dont know who im going to main cause i main everyone! lets play some games again this weekend rey.

tourney will start at 1pm. We will run melee 2.0000000000000000000 first. notice how the addition of zeros does not change the meaning of melee 2.0
