If you use pokecharms, there may be instances when your pokemon have a different color (See my Tyranitar). There is no 'shinies' option, and some gender symbols cannot be removed (See my Blissey). I recommend neopets if you're looking to perfect your card.

I might do one later when I finish building my (ingame) team. But in the mean time, where do you get the backgrounds of those trainer cards (you know, like the battle tower, cave entrance, etc)? They remind me of the backgrounds from golden sun, and I was thinking about making a gs style pokemon battle scene.

Whats wrong with that? Its supposed to be grass themed. And I wanted to make it have as much variety as possible.

Well, basically, it goes something like this:

Abomasnow was sent out!
Hail started to fall!

<A few turns later>

Shedinja was sent out!
Shedinja is struck by hail!
Shedinja fainted!

Well shedinja is supposed to be my second pokemon out, to do damadge while the opponent sleeps, Abomasnow is supposed to be one of my final pokemon.

Three things completely ruin that strat:
1) switching
2) roar/whirlwind
3) enemy ttar/hippowdon/abomasnow

Well its not the most competitive team in the world. Its supposed to be beatable. And shedinjas other tactic to to poison them and then leave. I know not to send it out against a wether pokemon so Im good and I have protect on it to make sure the pokemon doesnt have an attack that will kill me.

i personally never use shedinjas...cuz so its just so fragile even with its wonder guard.

In adv you could use it pretty effectively. Most teams don't think about sheddy when planning a team, so it was just a matter of eliminating the ttar (if they had one) and putting out your own rain dance or sunny day, and of course keeping spikes away. It sounds like a lot more work than it actually is. If you build your team right, you can continually force them to switch out because they can't hit you, which will cause damage to build up if you've got spikes down. Sheddy forces switches very well. Unfortunately, against some teams, it's just dead weight, but it's a risk you've got to take when using it.

i think that this thread was meant for posting trainer cards that you made on your own. but imo i guess yours is pretty good, you should've fixed the white backgrounds behind the pokemons sprites, maybe gotten rid of the website, and tried to get a background that suits your trainer card more, unless you chose those specific colors bcuz you like them, which in that case it's fine.

if you like tech, then you should choose porygon-z as your sixth poke, since you lack a decent special sweeper.

1- when you post go to 'Go Adavnced', and from there there is a button that lets you insert an image. you need to have a link for the image.
