I found this website that allows you to create your personal roster.

By roster I'm assuming that it means the characters you will play.

So I thought it would be nice to see who is everyone planning on playing. Here is mine:

(I like Green, but Pac-Man has no Green Color. Black will do.)

I'm going to play the most out of all the characters like I did in Brawl. Nothing more boring than having "mains" especially when you're not even that good at the game.

Top row are the ones I'll be using the most, bottom row are characters I'll try to at least be adept with. Though, like always, I'll try to have a working knowledge of everyone.

Top row, from left to right, are the characters I am definitely putting some work into.

Rosalina and Mega Man being my most wanted newcomers so I have to get good with them (I will focus on Mega Man on 3DS and Rosalina on Wii U, when the Wii U one comes out). Mega Man has also been my main in the demo.

Sonic and Toon Link for being my favourites from Brawl and Project M.

Kirby for being one of my favourite Nintendo characters and I really enjoy playing as him in Smash 64 (where he was my main), Brawl, and Project M.

Mario because from my experience with the Smash 4 demo, I really like how he’s turned out and I can already kick ass with him. That combo game is awesome.

Palutena was my most wanted newcomer after Rosalina and Mega Man (out of the ones we actually got). And I liked her in Uprising. She will be a secondary, along with Pit.

The bottom row are characters I may not main as such but I am particularly interested in trying them out.

Much like someone else said, I won't have "mains".
I usually change my character every match, or like in Brawl; just use Random.

But my top three in Brawl were arguably Pikachu/C.Falc/Yoshi.
My top in Melee was Doc.
The two newcomers I'm currently most hyped for (along with Megaman and Bowser Jr.) are thrown there for good measure

One of the MANY reasons one would main Bowser Jr. ... Has me in giggles every time!

Villager, Meta Knight and Little Mac are also ones I'd likely use a lot, but not nearly as much as the Doc or Bowser Jr.

This is my plan. In no real order aside from aesthetic.

Red & Green Robin = <3 though I wish they were flipped.

Cordelia flavored Lucina? You bet your buns.

Ludwig and Morton are my most surprising wants. I'd have never guessed how much I was excited for them.

Zelda was my secondary from Melee and I'm glad that she's looking better than Brawl (According to some people at least)

I like Mario's moveset but FLUDD a ****. Doc makes it good again. Aw yeee

And Villager is a wildcard. I'm excited to try him but... unsure if I'll actually like him much. We'll see.

I never expected to like Lucas in Brawl and I did so take these with a grain of salt.

Favorites from left to right

Ness: Always been one of my mains throughout the entire series.

Villager: Love Animal Crossing and love his moveset. Can't wait to try him out.

Wario: My main in Brawl. Sad that they got rid of most of his alts though I still love playing as him.

Dr. Mario: Loved him in Melee, glad that he's back.

Little Mac: Super Punch Out! is one of my favorite SNES games which is why I was happy that he made it.

Toonlink: The first character I decided to main back when Brawl was first released. Haven't played as him in a long time though I plan to change that.

Robin: Never played Fire Emblem though I love their moveset, and the red female alt.

Falco: Played as him in Brawl and started to like him. I'll give him a try.

The top row consists of my mains, not in order, but organized to look nice. The second row are potential secondaries, third row are the other characters I like, and the last row are the rest. Highly subject to change once the game comes out.

Why I chose each:

Spoiler

• Yoshi: My forever main that I keep returning to.

• Cyan: My constant main and my character.
• Pink: A close second.
• Black: I might make another one since they're available, provided they're not too marysue-ish.

• G/W: someone I've grown attached to lately.

• Black: the only color they are in canon.
• Gray: and this, if they're supposed to represent an empty LCD cel.

• Duck Hunt: Because he's cute and awesome.

• Beagle: Because I have one.

• Fox: Reflex exercise turned main.

• Black: Because Blue is now Not-Wolf.
• Green: Melee's "Very Hard" CPU color for him. Like a barbarian wearing a lion skin into battle.

• Dr. Mario: "Doctor" as in professor. I use him to tutor.

• Red/Blue: These are the closest to Ryu's colors in a fighting game basics guide I read. Since I use Doc for the same purpose, this is a given.

• Pink Villager: The one I used most in the demo.
• Greninja: I have one that I love very much in X/Y.
• Dark Lucario: Same. This color is more "real" feeling than the default.
• ???-colored Dark Pit: I took up the character out of spite. I chose this color because he looks like an NES adventure hero or something.

The reason for the second Samus being that I think the custom move options she has are enough to make her play more like a clone-esque character rather than her usual self.
