Debatable, just like any roster. XD Sadly, there will never be a roster everyone can be happy with, cause everyone complains. I'm glad you think it's perfect though. I think its great too, but not perfect.
It looks like "perfect" wasn't the word I chose to describe it. lol
But yeah. Unlike most people, I don't whine and complain about the choice of characters on the roster.

I try not to as well. At first I was very salty, when the roster was first revealed a long time ago, but than it soon went away and I realized it's extremely dumb to be upset over it. I'm enjoying the demo a ton, and my favorite is Villager. (a bit off topic but hey) I think the game will be great once I purchase it.

Same here. Sure some characters on the roster were somewhat questionable but it doesn't stop me from buying both versions of the game. I mean, people who refused to buy the game just because the character they don't like is in it or one of their most wanted character is not in it is the worst excuse they ever made. Seriously, who does that?

I don't even know who would do that. XD Two of my favorite characters did not make it in, but I don't mind at all. I'm actually finding I like a lot of the newcomers, among some characters from the past I did not know I enjoyed. I cannot wait for October 3rd.

My only changes would be to have kept Lucas, exchange Dr. Mario for Paper Mario, and exchange Lucina for Chrom.

That said, I absolutely love the roster we have and everyone in it.

The current Smash Bros 4 Roster, except Lucina and Dark Pit are semi-clones instead or just more unique in general. I would also add the following characters and some changes they could have gotten in:

- Ice Climbers (Tweaked to avoid some... Certain issues they had in Brawl.)
- Lucas (Tweak him as well and change up a few moves.)
- Wolf (He's pretty fine as he is, though maybe he could use a bit of fine tuning on parts of his moveset)
- Roy (Has his Fire Emblem Awakening appearance. Would have a mostly overhauled moveset and some modified attributes. Of course he keeps the fire and an improved Flare Blade move... It's not Roy without the fire after all. He's our boy, we cannot leave him behind.)
- Chrom (Would sort of be like an Ike/Marth mix with some of his own unique moves as well. Would have an Ike colored alternate costume. lel. Plus, the reasoning for not including him has been contradicted.)
- Mewtwo (Give him some major improvements to some of his moves and attributes. He's not a lightweight at all. :c )
- Some kind of Grass Type Pokemon to go alongside Charizard and Greninja.
- Dr. Luigi :troll:

I may have forgotten a few, but those are a few I can name.

>MFW Dr. Luigi :secretkpop:

I'm a huge fan of fire emblem awakening. So I would not even be upset if they put Chrom in. In fact I would like it, even with a big amount of fire emblem characters already in. I even want Roy back. I'm bias.

Let's pretend Smash 5 is coming out. This is what I want.

Veterans: No cuts from Sm4sh, Ice Climbers brought back.
Newcomers: Birdo, Waluigi, Mona, King K. Rool, Waddle Dee, Sylux, King Hippo, Vaati, [INSERT GEN 7 POKEMON HERE], Krystal, Takamaru, Mallo, Marshal, Party Phil, Shakalaka Warriors. I have movesets and reasonings behind all of these additions, if anyone was interested I can post 'em.

Go for it. Or you can just PM them to me if there's a lot to go through.

I admire people that write up their own potential movesets. They're pretty tricky to do but incredibly fun if you invest the time and effort into making them.

Well here are the newcomers:
King K. Rool
Heavyset fighter with a lot of ranged attacks. Not heaviest in the game, to be honest.

Neutral B - Blunderbuss
Rool pulls out his trusty blunderbuss and shoots a cannonball from it forwards, no changing direction. This attack can be charged up for a bigger cannonball to be thrown.
Side B - Blunderbuss Jet
Rool quickly turns around and shoots the blunderbuss behind him, which rockets him forward. The attacks can deal knock back.
Up B - Hoverpack
Rool flies upwards with his helicopter jetpack. This attack deals no damage.
Down B - Cannon Drop
Rool drops a cannoball in similar fasion to Villager's forward Smash. The attack can be used as a meteor smash if used correctly.
Final Smash - Cannon Rain
Similar to Ness' final Smash from Brawl, Rool lets it rain a variety of cannonballs at different sizes. Small ones cannot pass through platforms, but large ones can! Each cannonball, at the right percentage, has potential to be a one-hit KO

Birdo
Has a similar control feel to Yoshi, but her moves are wildly different

Neutral B - Egg Shot
Birdo shoots an egg that does a small amount of damage to an opponent. The opponent does not flinch, similar to Fox's blaster. The attack also can be shot rapidly. Birdo also has the random chance of shooting a fireball, which deals for greater damage with flinching
Side B - Bow Twirl
Works like Mario's cape. Birdo undoes her bow and twirls it in front of her, which can block projectiles and reverse opponents. Deals for little damage.
Up B - Magic Carpet
Birdo dons a magic carpet a la Super Mario Bros. 2. It only lasts a short amount of time and deals no damage, but is a good recovery option
Down B - Crystal Ball
Birdo holds a crystal ball, similar to Mario 2, in front of her, which can deflect attacks. You can throw the crystal ball at opponents to deal great damage.
Final Smash - Bit Egg
A giant 8-bit Birdo appears and shoots an egg, which can cover the whole stage similar to Samus' Final Smash.

Waluigi
Thin and lanky character. He moves fast and works better in mid-range from opponent. Not too far, not too close.

Neutral B - Tennis Racket
Waluigi hits a tennis ball. Depending on the area the ball can bounce around. The ball moves fast and deals little damage.
Side B - Baseball
Waluigi throws a baseball. It goes an okay distance. You can charge it to make it go faster, deal more damage, and go farther. The ball will also be on fire.
Up B - Dice Block
Similar to Mario's Up B and G&W's Down B, Waluigi hits a dice block. Depending on the number it lands on, the damage will be greater or weaker.
Down B - Golf Swing
Waluigi hits a golf ball that can fly across the stage. The path of the ball arcs and has a small hotbox
Final Smash - Kart Race
Waluigi hops in a Mario Kart and whistles, and he begins looping around the stage with Shy Guys also in Mario Karts following him.

Mona
Pretty averages speed with extravagant animations, and she hits hard, too

Neutral B - Baton Shake
Mona takes out her baton and flicks it. Similar to the wand item, it will shoot sparkles, except Mona's baton can attach damage to an opponent and hurt them over time, a la Lip's Flower.
Side B - Motorcycle
Mona hops on her motorcycle like Wario. It is slower than Wario's, but has greater knock back.
Up B - Cheerlead
Mona's fellow cheerleaders appear and toss her up, similar to Game & Watch's recovery. The moves does no damage.
Down B - Pizza Slice
Mona tosses a pizza onto the ground like Diddy's banana. The opponent can slip and trip on the pizza, the only different with it and Diddy's is that the pizza has a bigger hitbox, and is harder to see.
Final Smash - Rock Show
Mona's friends appear and cheer her on as she rocks out on a guitar. The damage done is similar to Donkey's FS, except Mona's is not a rhythm game. It is a controlled beat.

I'll post the others later!

The roster we got for both versions of Smash Bros. 4 is perfect as it is, except I would remove Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr., Dark Pit, Sonic and Mii Fighters from it and bring back Roy, Wolf and Snake and add Chrom as the newcomer.
No Way, Cut :4sonic:and bring back :snake:

I would never buy this personally. XD But nice roster. I think Party Phil is too poo to make it into smash bros.
I would like too see you're reasoning's. Oops, you already posted them.

That's basically what I said. I forget to mention to remove R.O.B. as well.

Interesting, so you would prefer the game to have a small roster? : 3 Everyone has there own ideas and choices. May I hear you're reasoning? I'm just curious.

Well I think the roster we have right now is perfectly fine, but if it were in my hands... take out Dark Pit and Lucina. Replace them with (new clones tho) Mega Mewtwo Y (as a clone of Lucario or a clone of Mewtwo if he ends up being downloadable) and maybe eh... throw some Dixie in or something. And Dark Samus over Lucina.

I'm a huge fire emblem fan, so I like Lucina even if she is a clone, but as I said, I'm bias due to me being a fan. Still, I miss Lucas and Wolf, even if they themselves are clones.
