Possible mid VA monthlies and large Febuary tournament

Question, let us assume that I could arrange with my local hotel to have monthly tournaments, if I could bring over North Carolina as well, would any (Melee or Brawl) players be interested?
I could also arrange for a large tournament in February as well and bring up people from Florida.
I want to make sure because I don't want to put myself in debt trying to run tournaments out of the hotel.

Most people here prefer maylay though. Ryko where do you live in Richmond? I play brawl+ and melee and Brawl if you really want but I suck at that game...

There is, and one about an hour away in Newport News as well, and in Virgina Tech, and I think we can maybe (maybe) pull a bit from North Carolina too.

Monday I'm going to call local hotels and get these arranged.

I'm about a 2 minute walk from the main street station so I can hit up taking a train to other parts of VA. If people are having practices and are willing to pick me up from a train station or it's within 90 minutes by bus I'll keep playing for sure. As of now I'm on a straight casual deal but all it really takes is a week of some hard practice to freshen up. I'll try to keep an eye on topics and what not but if anyone in richmond would like to practice hit me up on AIM or MSN and ill set something up. I know thesage likes plus and that's not really my thing but I'll play anything to keep my reaction speed up.
