Possible Brawl Tournament In Leicester

As the title suggests, me and a few freinds are looking into setting up a tournament in Leicester. We could easily get a room booked in the city centre and it would be fairly easy for us to set up.We're not too sure on dates, but let me put up a date, say a saturday in December, before christmas, this is no way a definate date but to give people an idea.~
We would really liek to do one, but the main problem is lack of interest. If we can get about 20-30 coming then we'll break even and everyone will have a good day.
Basically what im asking is, how many people would willingly travel to leicester to play in a tournament. Tbh i don't know much about the UK smash scene so i don't know how you all travel and whether you stay overnight and sutff. I think leicester would be a decent location, it is near enough in the middle of the country and i was thinking there would be a a fair few players from Brimingham and Nottingham willing to travel.
Thanks for reading this, i hope some of you would be willing to travel as i'm dying for some competition, but i cannot travel to London, NW etc.

There's like 15~ londoners that would probably go due to the us having that many spare tickets atm because a Birmingham tournament was cancelled. We'd need housing though.

i'd probably go. I can make it on the day, but housing is always nice. Thats the biggest problem with UK tournaments atm, getting housing.

Well if you put melee there, the turnout will probably be alot bigger, ill be there maybe even (I dont play smash though so~)

and its good to see that you'd all be willing to come, i guess i should look into finidng a defenite place, and a hostel or something to house all you guys. If i can find somewhere i shall post as soon as i can, it'd be great to play you guys as i'm sure your not noobs like the Elite 4.

Well it isn't really a clan, just a team of 4 I guess, it is also a tournament hold in Leicester called the Elite 4 tournament as well. The rules suck ***, maybe you guys should come down and help us pwn everyone there lol... Only 2 of them are good...

I'll probably go but I'll have more incentive to go if it's Brawl+Melee. If you do Melee as well I think you'll find out the turnout will be a lot better.

If we do do a tournament I think we would probably be able to do Melee + Brawl. We have 3 Wii's and 3 Gamecubes. Controllers would be an issue though, so you would have to bring your own. I really don't know where we could do housing though....

Bringing your own controller is always something you do, you shouldn't need to supply people with them.
If you need more setups, e.g wiis or cubes, just post it, people will bring them. It's TVs that the hosts need to supply really.

For housing look around for near hostels or B&Bs etc.
