Noob. This has been said many times. I'm sorry but you'll just have to accept that Marth is better. Roy might be stronger in some ways, but Marth has way more speed and his strongest attacks are at the tip of his sword. Unlike Roys strongest attacks which are in the middle of his sword.

Not really. If there were two players who were equal in skill, 1 had Marth, and 1 had Bowser, Marth would win, but only by a small margin. The reason why? It is because of the advantages that Marth has over Bowser. Marth is so much better of a character because he has speed, power, weight, strength, priority, and range. Bowser only has power. BUT, speed almost out weighs power in everyway.

So in a Marth vs Roy fight, it would be the same as a Marth vs Bowser fight.

No, they are definitely NOT equal.

Roy has crappy aerial attacks.

Marth has excellant aerial attacks.

Roy has crappy ground attacks and very little range and speed.

Marth has awesome ground attacks and a lot of range and speed.

Marth is floatier than Roy.

Marth has a better and safer recovery than Roy.

Marth can chain throw better than Roy.

Roy's Counter inflicts 1.5 damage back at someone, but its "counter" duration is shorter than Marth's.

Roy's Up B has multiple hits, but does less knock back and damage than Marth's Dolphin Slash.

Marth has a stronger Forward B combo than Roy. Fire doesn't do ****.

Roy's throws are stronger, but Marth can chain throw better.

Marth has a longer wavedash.

Marth's D tilt has a downward trajectory.

Roy's D tilt has an upward trajectory.

Marth's Sweetspot is at the tip of his sword.

Roy's sweetspot is in the middle of his sword.

All of Roy's ground attacks have more lag than Marth's ground attacks.

Roy and bowser are completely different characters with different move sets. Also, Bowser would have weight which would make more durable and take more hits than Marth. Also, wouldn't you think that a person would also learn their character's pros and cons and try to utilize the strengths and make the weaknesses work to their advantage? I mean, when I use Ganondorf I manage to use his weight against my opponents. So statistics aren't everything in battle.
