Just trying to gauge how many people I should be envious of as I have to slog through another 9-5 tomorrow (well technically 7-3:30).

Yep! I took the day off of work weeks ago, for reasons unrelated to Smash Bros. Ironically, that's the day of the Direct. This'll be the first time I've watched a Direct live ever. It'll be interesting not being behind on the big announcements for once.

Fun fact: I also took Dec. 7th and Dec. 10th off of work, but that is simply because of Smash. 4 day weekend FTW. :secretkpop:

I've had Friday off for a long time, with the ability to swap for tomorrow if I wanted, but decided against it; valuing a three-day weekend more (as it'll probably take that long to digest everything that happens anyway). The last time I caught a Smash Direct live was when Etika poured water all over himself at the Lucas announcement... general Nintendo Directs I can usually catch live as they're like 6 PM my time.

Let me just explain to you all the struggles of being on the floor working and seeing that clock hit 10 AM... if I had cellular data, you best believe I'd be on the crapper watching.

Lucky son of a *****! I don't work Fri-Sun so it helps for me. But Monday I hate you for as I'm stuck with peak season at work during that time lol
