I support it and would like a playable Pignite, but what if it is not a game and just some new merchandise totally different from the games, anime, manga or TCG?

This could be a Skylanders-type fighting game. You put the Trading Cards on the Gamepad and then BOOM fighting game with Trading cards.

Maybe the characters will have some super meter that can be filled and when it is full you can use Mega Evolution.

For those of you who haven't heard or don't have a clue about Pokken, Pokken is a game "leaked" from the Pokémon Game Show in Japan. It would be a Pokémon fighting game similar to that of Tekken.
Luckily, we might have a screenshot on what it is.

Simple. Gyarados would use Headbutt, Dragon Tail, Dragon Dance and Aqua Jet as some special moves. He could use his head & tail as punches and kicks.

my friend told me about this game. its gonna be either really good, or really gimmicky and lame.
i'd love to see blastoise nidoking marowak, all the hitmons, sceptile (any fighting capable starter really), exploud, aggron, zangoose seviper absol, (would love to see their rivalry the pokedex keeps mentioning so much), electivire and haxorus. it would be amazing if they allowed you to customize your abilities and movesets with them all coming in to play in some way. special projectile moves, and close range physical attacks. i hope type weaknesses dont come into play because then scizor wouldnt stand a chance against fire types as would aggron get decimated by fighting types, maybe even status moves that could hinder your opponent but be really limited because everyone hates spore breloom -_-. looking forward to more info about this game

Gameplay like Tekken? No thanks. How about an engine similar, if not the same to Smash Bros.? It's already been proven to be magnificent in handling how different characters with abilities, perfectly. Tekken's engine should be nowhere near Pokemon. Just give me Super Smash Bros. - Pocket Monsters Edition, and I'm set.
