I was just thinking... wouldn't it be cool if they made a ripoff of brawl that just had pokemon? Same sort of fighting dynamics except you could have hitmonlee etc. in it. What characters would you look forward to in this game and do you think nintendo would ever do it?

Edit: Lets say only like 34 or so pokemon actually make it in the game... maybe even only from the original 150? I dunno it's y'alls preference.

In regards to the OP i'd rather see something akin to a mixing of the Tales of series and pokemon. It just seems so perfect I'd wish some company would get on that instead of rehashing the same thing with different sprites for years ; ;.

This would actaully be pretty cool. I doubt they would have all 493 Pokemon in there (this means no epic destiny fight. Sorry, smashbot), but there would be a sizeable amount.

I'd be up for it, as long as they don't manage to make it worse than Mystery Dungeon.

I would really like to see a pokemon game like that, with wifi capabilities and maybe more than 4 moves per pokemon. While I would buy it, I don't see Nintendo making this game.

Errr....Seems i was misinterpreted by "i'd rather see something akin to a mixing of the Tales of series and pokemon" I'd meant you'd send out your pokemon as normal but play that pokemon like it was one of the characters in a tales of series on the battlefield. 3D running Around the field have your 4 attacks mapped to a button and correspond to that button + direction. with basic attacks thrown in.

I would love a Pokemon based fighting game. Seriously, that's what I thought Pokemon Stadium would have been years ago, only to be sorely disappointed. It would be a brilliant idea for pokemon, and spark new and returning interest.

Which means they won't do it, of course.

Imagine all maps of the Pokemon World, Kanto, Hoenn, Johto... and maybe a few more maps, all linked together. Make all the cities actually cities, not like Cinnabar Island. (seriously, there wasn't even a house) Make walking distances a good walk between cities, actual distances, not just a 30 second walk. Like a good 5-10 miles.

Imagine it in 3D, online, and on the Wii. WoW-like graphics in a Pokemon game.

It'd be awesome.

Lol, I actually really disliked Mewtwo in melee. Lucario is like a 20x better mewtwo. It'd be cool if they had mew. He'd be small and fierce like Olimar.

Nintendo should seriously make a PokeSmash. I've been thinking about that since last year. It would play out like a Pokemon battle, except in an actual arena where you control the Pokemon's actions.

Here's some of the Pokemon I think should make it in:
-Blaziken
-Scyther
-Flygon (texture swap Charizard... hmm...)
-Ninetales
-Hitmonchan
-Marshstomp
-Grovyle
-Totodile
-Raichu
-Ditto

And some of the lesser-known Pokemon, too...
