Here we discuss small tricks that you can do on certain stages.

Battlefield: with squirtle you can knock people sheilding on platforms with a aerial and if they do not tech, can set up a jab lock.

Yoshis island: you can wall cling with squirtle to waste your opponents invincibility frames

Castle siege: during the transition part of the stage, you can switch and if your opponent doesnt know aobut how the pokemon can only come out after the transition is complete you can get a less punishable switch

Brinstar: squirtles dtilt completely breaks brinstar in half

Pokemon Stadium: each of the pokemon get a 10% boost in power on their corresponding transformations. water for squirtle, grass ivysaur, fire charizard.
this is a lie
Pictochat: the transformations can help you get free switches, whether you are enclosed inside a drawing or you and the opponent are on opposite sides of a drawing and simply waiting it out.

Norfair: Ivysaur takes super effective knockback from the lava, Squirtle takes not very effective knockback.

Luigi's Mansion: You can do very gay things here. throw to jab lock to rock smash, uthrow to bullet seed, jab locks for squirtle.

Smashville/stages with moving platforms (probably custom stages too):

[Screw the edit]
If you stay on the back edge of a moving platform (ex: platform is moving right, you stay on the left edge - or whatever - the point you're switching on MUST be moving away from your initial area, leaving you in the air) and do a pokemon switch...

...to Squirtle/Ivysaur, you get two aerial jumps and the ability to attack/airdodge as soon as you spawn.
...to Chairzard, you get no aerial jumps and the ability to attack/airdodge as soon as you spawn.

Reflex surprised me with this in-tourney.

He also suicided at 0% with Charizard.
and ***** me promptly with Squirtle.

edit:
If you switch to Squirtle, you can actually go under Smashville and up-B to the other side by doing this.

Yes, zeta discovered it a couple weeks back and we've been discussing it in the PT BR. I believe he was intending on making a thread about it right before Genesis.

It is an extremely useful AT. Also note that all movable platforms work with this. So every single platform on the top portion of rainbow cruise will work, along with the platforms on pirate ship, etc.
