I certainly don't. Look at the pokemon games out right now. The game would have atari graphics. I too have thought about this very idea though. Voltorb would be the best.

This is a really nice idea and I think about this idea every night.

It's highly unlikely however, given the number of Pokemon there are and the amount of moves and combinations that would be present. If anything, each of the Pokemon moves would be set, and there would have to be a lot of clones such as Charmander and Charmeleon for Example.
Really neat idea though. Doubt it'll happen, but someone should pitch this idea to Nintendo. You never know xD.

Although this isn't an original idea, it seems like it would be a great Pokemon game. The reasom why I would say this would be because Pokemon that wouldn't normally own, would own at this game. Take Tangrowth for example. Tangrowth could use Power Whip to hit people far away and reach a ledge. Gallade would make use of his retractable swords in his elbows. Roserade seems more suited like Sheik than some cold-hearted fat *** known as Jynx. Pin Missle FTW!

I'd say at least 40 for a more Smash-like game.
Some pokemon could be alt. costumes of each other.
Oh and we'd also only use fully-evolved pokemon with a few exceptions (i.e. Pikachu)

Maybe have ranks among the Pokemon like how our competitive battling is... But cross-out Ubers because most of those are over 10 feet big and the stadium would have no room left for anyone to move. Let's leave it at OU and better half of BL, UU and rest of BL, and NU. After that, then take all except 15 from each categories and you have the Pokemon for the game. OR, it could be three seperate games where some of the games have exclusive Pokemon you can fight as.

The game you're suggesting shouldn't be self-limiting. The only way I would buy that game is if it was a real-time, actually good action RPG. Not like Smash, since it would be pointless to make another one with only Pokemon, and not like Mystery Dungeon, which is a less fun version of Azure Dreams.

Of course it won't be as popular, but that wouldn't stop it from being fun...
cuz sonic is popular.
and pokemon is supposed to be a turn based RPG. not an all out fighting game. we have smash for that.
